Been here on cards chat for about a week and after hearing people talk i thought i would check out some more sites that i rarely play at. The reason i started this thread is to see what peoples favorite sites to play are and what they like the most or why they chose it.

I'll start off the site i play the most and i guess like the most is bodog.

Some reasons why

Beginner sit and gos- I am at small stakes and these seam to be easy money actually pay top 5.

I have been doing well so don't feel like going anywhere else.

This was the first site that i deposited on so this is a big reason for not switching don't want to deposit another site.

Reason i started here was the fact that they have online sporstbook as well as a casino.

Like i said software isn't a reason i like it. This post is meant to have people say why they like their site. I didn't post it intending for people to criticize what other people like. Its here to learn favorites and why.

Didn't mean to jump all over your site. It is a peice of junk though, sorry. Have you ever played Stars, FT or UB? I just don't get why you like bodog so much?

Sorry never played in Bodog. Dont know anything about it. But to give you my opnion, I started with Fulltilt and have been with them for 5 years. I find the site easy to use and have made many friends. I love their sit and goes as well as just playing for chips which gives me practice on other games for real money.
And as you said most people just get use to the site they started with.

I like Full Tilt, I used to hate it! I like full tilt because the client is appealing to my eyes and easy to understand... I dont much care for PS when i played there because the buy ins look wierd and run together on some of them.. Full Tilt also has nice limits for me to play... i really enjoy the amount of Guarentee tournaments they have and how many 2 and 3 dollar MTTs they have (With a variety of table seats and games) The only thing i dont like is the lack of Omaha micro limit tournaments... i wish they would have some more of those... but the 5 dollar Omaha H/L DS is a fun tournament to play with not that many people

Last thing about Full Tilt and i will shut up... I am so excited to get to play in the miniFTOPS this year! I have never had a bankroll big enough to actaully play in these events.. so i am excited to get to play in a few of them!

We get these threads often and they usually turn into spam post train wrecks. I will try to leave it open - but if gets to that point we will have to close it. :(

So far so good. Anyone who wants to post in this thread please make your response meaningful. None of these please:

I play at FT cause Pokerstars sucks.

I love Bodog.

I get sucked out on at UB every day.

Carbon sucks.

Pokerstars is the best.

Who has the most freerolls?

Etc etc etc - you get my drift.

If your looking for the easiest site to make money, Bodog is the best I've play. Imo they have a much weaker player pool than stars, FTP or any other i've played. Their software does tend to be a little glitchy and traffic can be a little slow but I been having more problems with FPT lately than bodog.

Like Triggalos says, Bodog is glitchy. One thing I DO like about it is you can chat while folks are all-in, which is a lot. lol What it won't tell you, and this is unconscionable, is that place you're in in a tourney. But I like the sports betting. I don't it often, but it's nice. And the customer service is the best. I'd give it the nod even above poker stars (which is hard to neat) for the toll-free number instead of email.

I get Dakota's 'drift', too. Most of them have pros and cons. The only ones I seriously dislike are UB/Absolute (same network), and Poker World/Players Only (same network). UB's software is disgraceful. And the pettyness of not letting you rail chat for even a minute after you bust out is also disgraceful. If you try and chat while there's an all-in, whatever you typed is gone.

I love Carbon's software. But not a lot of micro choices or traffic.

Best all-around for choice of games with microstakes = Poker Stars. Micros with heavy traffic but fewer game choices = Full Tilt.

Here's my list of all the poker rooms I play in order of What I like the best:

1.Full Tilt. hands Down best online poker room in my opinion.Very easy to browse, amazing software, competetive, and its a good site to pick your game to dominate because you will see the same players over and over.

2.Cake Poker/Doylesroom. Sounds weird to have them listed as #2..but i really enjoy cake and how soft the play is on there.

3.UB/AP. I'm down for their software..havent played on there too much but every time I have played i have enjoyed it.

4.Pokerstars. Not the biggest fan..Something about the software is just plain boring to me.They do have one of the best tournament system on the net going for them but hard for me to get into it.(prob because I started poker as a full tilt guy.)

5.Bodog. ehh..Software sucks!but I do like how you can play a couple baby tables to the left of your main table..perfect for a tournament and 2 heads up matches to muti table on.Just started on Bodog a few weeks ago.

6.Carbon. No nothing about it really..Everything seems to go by so quick on there for some reason..I like how they have 50k freeroll satellites.

Honestly I like every poker room out there...because POKER ANYWHERE IS THE SHIT!

I would have to say Full Tilt. They make it such a relaxed atmosphere with all the avatars and whatnot...I started at Stars then switched to FT about two years ago, enjoyed it ever since. It's the easiest way to get some money through freerolls, and just as easy to deposit.

I agree with the above posts, Bodog isn't much to talk about. If you really want to get some enjoyment, go to Full Tilt. You can even drop in a watch/play with some of the biggest names in the business.

Pokerstars is my favourite by far. Professional looking and the biggest and best games going.

I don't like FT, it's too slow and cartoonish looking.

I like Bodog aswell, they have strong freerolls and gtd tourneys that do not get large fields, if you can play well enough you can make some nice money on Bodog.

I don't like bodog.

At all my other sites, where possible, I give them all the same look, or nearly the same look. My backgrounds are as near black as the site allows. I often find myself looking to see where a particular game is playing as I play multiple games at multiple sites at the same time.

Then it is only a matter of where the action buttons are.

I find that across the board, when taken in whole, that the deals are flat, and no site is better or worse at this. Tho the nagging feeling that FT specializes in action flops is hard to lose.

OP's original notion of game selection is valid, and for him the bodog beginners sng's make sense.

I prefere fulltilt, since they have sychronized breaks its easier for me to play more tourneys at the same time, also I like their bonus offers and the fulltilt academy seems to me they offer better tourneys than other pokerrooms I have been on like pokerstars, ultimatebet or titan.

i think i enjoy playing at full tilt the most, though i'm mainly freerollin over there. i like the look and feel of it.

i like killing time at poker4ever, which is a small site because its easy to cash the fr's and they have 11 cent sng's, haha, though they do take time to fill up sometimes

aside from the flashy main client that kinda lags, i like ultimate bet's simple tables...i have no money there at all and sometimes play a fr when i'm bored.

carbon lags my computer pretty bad if i have much else going on but, despite that i think its pretty cool. i don't play much there, i won a dollar in a freeroll once there though, so when i log in it says i have 1.00..woo hoo! wouldn't mind playing there a little bit more. i don't like how the blinds progress.

pokerstars is a place i'd like to kinda start playing more, but i really don't like the software that much at all, its kinda ugly, every time i play i spend more time trying to change the look of the table to something that won't hurt my eyes. i wish they'd change how they list ...everything...because its just messy, though, like ftp, i like the fact that if its a sng or something, its starting about as soon as you decide to sit down in it, which isn't true at a lot of places

at doyle's room, i seem to remember to play the sunday grand feeders and then forget to play the sunday grand...its sunday, so let's hope i keep that in mind. i don't like the way the blinds progress in the tourney's there at all though. if i can cash a sunday grand for a few bucks, i think that would be a totally expendable little bit of cash to try to play some of their cheapest ring games...a part of my game that just doesn't exist.

and bodog...i don't like how it uses internet explorer, its kinda laggy at times. its not ugly, and it is easy to use. the freerolls are some of the donky-est compared to everyone else's fr's....we're talking some horrible play. i did go far enough last night for $3 in one though. i kinda think the beginner sng's are kinda misleading...or maybe i just don't enjoy them, kinda like my few stabs at double or nothin's at pokerstars...they just aren't very fun. i played in a few beginner sng's there today for the first time in a long time, just awful, most fish tables i think i've sat down at in a while. i got 6th in one, blah. then 4th, then, somehow, i win the other one when i had like 600 chips left when we went heads up...every one of the players in those things is just terrible, terrible to the fact that they're just passing chips back and forth and the thing drags on forever, its almost tempting to just join in to the chaos and play crap with them...then they all call each other names and try to spew out poker advice. doesn't ever feel like you're actually playing a poker game

i go through phases, one month i really like playing at one site and another month i like playing at another. i don't have a ton of money in any account, which is probably why. i guess, for instance, when i signed up here, i was playing a lot more at bodog than anywhere else. but no harm in looking around, you'll find different things you like playing in.

Well i think i am going to have to break down and deposit to another site. Haven't looked much at the other sites other than playing in the freerolls. Like the look and feel of fulltilt, and the tourneys available hands down beat what bodog has to offer. So i think i will have to make a deposit and give it a try. If all goes well it could become my new favorite. Which means i will have to make some money there. Hope to make future posts on how much i like it.

Full Tilt is my favorite as I've played there for so long and have met a few other regulars as well.

I'd have to say i started out on Pokerstars and the site is great, plus the tournies at good range (can't wait to play in the sunday million soon) but over all i'd have to say the Full Tilt is my fav bcos the software, game play, GTD's are fantastic! Jus such a great site to play on.

But my 2nd fave site has to be: PKR. I think its a great site with some good software ideas and the play there is very easy if ur a solid player.

My 3rd fave site will b partypoker. I havnt played on it for a while but ever since the updated their software that has been a good site to play on. Jus dont like it how they dont have much micro games.
