YOUR CC# NOT SAFE ON ACR

So a magical transaction happened on my CC last friday. Its now 8 days past the transaction, the charge was clearly made by ACR, all the descriptions and merchant numbers are identical. The fact that it has taken this long with no resolution is beyond reason.

I called the acr cs # talked with a rep, asked her for a screen shot of all my transactions. She sent me a screen shot containing 80% of my credit card digits. Now im no mathematician but do have access to google. So i want to know if you could obtain the missing 4 digits if you have the other number.


This is what i found

if what i read was correct , with little time and less than 10000 different combinations of remaining numbers(excluding repeating numbers and other non CC combos) to find for the complete CC# ,that you can check yourself to see if its a valid CC#, i think the majority of every player on ACR using any CC has a huge risk of their info being used or taken without their permission.

Do it yourself , contact ACR and ask for a screen shot of your deposits to their site. When i requested mine it showed all 3 deposits i made dates, the Journal ID, Processor, Status, Date, Credit Card, Company, Customer, Billing Full Name, Currency Amount, VIP, Type, Created By, Registered By, Descriptor, and Prepaid.

It can happen anywhere you use your credit card - Target Best Buy - you name it, you use it there and you are putting your credit card at risk.

No need to panic - you are never responsible for the charges.

i understand the risk of using my card at any department store/ grocery store/ walmart. If this problem happened with these companies, the problem would be taken care of in a timely matter. And the correct transaction would be removed and the money wold be refunded.

The fact its taken this long and they refunded the wrong charge and left the charge that states RECURRING speaks volumes about their CS. Also im pretty sure not one single major department store keeps 80% of a CC # on record.

That sucks. Kudos to you for checking your statement regularly. More people need to do it to catch stuff like this. Hope it gets resolved.
