Hi, I am just wondering if you are ever going to get skrill Moneybookers back as a deposit/cashout option in the near future?

Thank you.

Ok, thank you for your reply. I look forward to seeing it return. Why was it removed in the first place, do you know?

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Dear xxxx,

Thank you for contacting Bodog Poker Customer Service.

We appreciate you taking the time to write us about the issue that you encountered with the software.

We think power cycling your modem will help. You should be able to run the poker software after these steps.

Here's how:

1. Turn off your computer and unplug your modem and router.
2. Turn on your modem first and when connected, turn on your router.
3. Once both are connected, please reboot your computer.

You might be experiencing lags on your end which causes the Tournament Lobby to have delays in updating. Experiencing lag problems can be a common occurrence when playing any online game such as Bovada Poker. Lag concerns can be caused by different factors such as insufficient system resources and background programs that may be interfering with the game. If there are multiple programs on your computer running at the same time, this may cause interruptions that may slow down your computer as well as your internet connection.

We also suggest that you connect your computer directly to your modem because the software needs a strong internet connection so as to avoid the same incident in the future. A possible remedy for this is also to clear your cache within your browser. Please see below for browser-specific instructions:

For Internet Explorer:

Click 'Tools', then click 'Internet Options', then click 'Temporary Internet Files', then click 'Delete Files'. Finally click 'Clear History'.

For Mozilla Firefox:

Click 'Tools', then click 'Options', then click 'Privacy' in the 'Options' window, click on the arrow next to 'Cache', then click 'Clear'. Finally, enter a number of 100 or less for the KB of disk space to use for cache and click 'OK'.

Best regards,

Poker Customer Service

Hi Weissr,

I'm sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience with bodog CS. Can you please confirm for me which bodog branded site you are a customer of? I'm happy to alert a Senior CS manager of the situation on your behalf.

Thanks so much,
Becky

Thanks for the reply Becky! It's not really a big deal, it was just humorous how the reply from support had absolutely nothing do to with my question (ie. I don't think rebooting my computer and router will bring back moneybookers). I am however still curious as to why Skrill/Moneybookers was removed, somewhat recently, as a deposit/withdrawal option from the site (bodog.eu). The reason I am enquiring about this is that the same thing has happened at a couple other sites as well and I was wondering if you could provide some clarity as to why?

Thanks.

I don't think that is the norm for Bodog - normally their customer service is very good.

I have always found Bovada customer service to be really great. I'm guessing they have a lot of pre-typed replies made up to save time and probably just goofed up somewhere with which one they used or something.

Just to follow up:

I did receive a very concise answer (thanks Becky) from a gentleman at Bodog customer service which basically said they removed Skrill(Moneybookers) due to low volume and have no plans on getting it back. This also contradicts what was said in their first email, but I am more inclined to believe my most recent correspondence.

While on the topic of odd Bodog occurrences; a week or so after I created my account it was locked by Bodog and I could not access it. They said that there was a discrepancy with my Skrill(Moneybookers) date of birth and that it did not match my date of birth at Bodog. I found this odd so I contacted Skrill and they confirmed that my DOB was accurate in their system, and I was certain that my Bodog account info was also accurate. I informed Bodog support that there was no discrepancy which was verified with Skrill and there must be an error on their end, but they did not seem to care and said my account will remain locked until I perform other measures of verification. I basically had no choice but to jump through their hoops and perform the additional verification measures. A day or so after completing them, my account was unlocked and sure enough everything was all accurate as it had previously been. No apology or acknowledgement of an error on their part was ever made.

In the mean time I missed some tournaments that I had planned on playing.
(again it's not a huge deal, just rubbed me the wrong way)

Bovada is USA and Bodog is non-USA right?

Bodog Poker - Bodog PT - Bodog ES - Bovada
