Lobby looks a little weird because I was used to the old one but everything seems much cleaner and more accessible...it looks like they took alot of the community's concerns into consideration, tourney lobby takes you to the tourney that your in's lobby not the general tourney lobby like before, they implemented a new bonus tracker to help guide people in understanding how to clear their bonuses, casino looks revamped, I will post more in depth after I take a deeper look into everything they did unless someone beats me to it...but damn, it's about time BCP!

Don't like the thread title here, not specific enough.

If a mod decides to change it to something like 'New WPN Software' it would be good.

PT3 is working fine on cash tables. There was actually a O8 cash game going this morning. AND it was full!!! :D I don't have the Omaha version of PT, so someone needs to tell us it works. The only way PT would still be working is if there were no change to the HH that we save, so the Omaha should still be working.

It used to be we could see how much rake per hand was in play by hovering over the pot. That got changed and I haven't found any new way. :(

Chat was changed so that personal chat is readable. They changed the background to white so the green (my chat) is ok.

The oval table shape took me a while to get used to, and I had to adjust HUD placement. :)

Overall it looks good. :)

They still didn't implement a preferred seat or auto-timebank though. :(

Not having preferred seating SUCKS because it makes you manually move your HUD at every table.

Glad to here that they updated it. To bad I blew the rest of my bankroll betting on the home run derby lol.

Yea not having the auto timebank was a big letdown, as well as no preferred seating, although the huds fit better when sitting at the bottom of the table if you haven't noticed yet, which is cool its not as packed, but overall I'm noticing more and more little things we've been asking for that they haven't delivered on.

EDIT***And the cash games are packed right now, could be people tinkering with the software and PT3,HEM but damn I haven't seen this many mid-high stakes games running in a loooong time.

Very similar to Pokerstar. Lobby looks better and tournament seems easier to read and find

You know what I was thinking the same thing! It feels alot like stars, both lobby and tables.

They still seem to think every tourney has to have a guarantee. All they really need is to start on time. And more variety.

This upgrade (not a rewrite) solved many esthetic issues, like bigger cards and chat. And that is very welcome, but the issues keeping them small are more than they addressed. IMHO

The graphics are pretty sweet. Still no preferred seating, and you can only open one tourney lobby at a time. Hope they fix those soon.

Ya I should of made the title of thread "WPN changes lobby/table theme, fails to really fix ANYTHING we wanted!"

After sitting down and playing with it for an hour I can honestly say they did little to nothing to add to the client as far as making it possible to multitable and use huds to play more profitably. The tables look fantastic, the lobby is a little more accessible, and hey theres a cash game filter but theres already bugs being reported with it...but other than that, what an absolute failure. I might have to just start playing on bovada in spite of this...I'm more of a MTT guy anyways.

Winning Poker Network Rolls Out Major Software Update

The Winning Poker Network launched their revamped software today, 7/17/13. That is the network with American's Cardroom and Black Chip Poker.

Here is an article about it: http://pokerfuse.com/news/poker-room-news/winning-poker-network-revamps-poker-client-17-07/

For me, the update took around 5 minutes to install. That seems like a long time. There were a lot of images to download.

The software is a little like pokerstars in that the left lobby sorts by categories and subcategories. The right side that shows tables and waiting lists uses the same background pattern that has rows of light grey and white lines for easy viewing. I think people might be thinking it is a lot like Pokerstars mainly because America's cardroom uses stars as graphics, and the red color of the software is the same dark red from Pstars. On BCP the colors are yellow and blue instead and there are clovers or clubs on the default skin.

Nice new features are lobby sorting. They still need preferred seating though and better table resizing :(

Overall, this is a big move in the right direction!

Date is 7/17, I typed the wrong thing above.

I like that the waiting list is on the same page as the table list now, whereas before it was separate tabs.

The fact that there is only one skin now sucks, as it is too busy for me. Couldn't you change colors before? Now it is just too cluttered. I wonder if the BCP symbols by player names mean we will get avatars eventually? I would really like a darker skin that was plainer.

If they could replace the Beast stuff at the top right with player rewards progress that would be awesome as well.

I like the update, playing Black Chip Poker right now. The lobby is more user friendly and the graphics are better in my opinion. It does seem closer to poker stars, but the Winning Network has always been good to me. I have been doing very well on Black Chip Poker since it was a merge skin. Curious to see if any players do not like the upgrade. Software update did take awhile FYI in case you play a certain game.

I went to the Black Chip website > cashout page at the bottom it says,

"$100 to $299 withdrawal fee is $60". Is that correct?

Midday download at ACR took 16 minutes. Early morning dl at BCP took about 5. Don;t take that as a knock on ACR, but rather an indication of how busy they got today, and the general nature of the net in the middle of the day.

After playing multiple times today, my reaction is that they just ran the client engine thru a Photoshop like thing and haven't really changed much.

I like the what they have done. Can you guys tell me which skin to go with on WPN?

Doesn't make much matter, they all use the WPN cashier. But it's curious how ACR promo's the beast more than BCP. So far they have seemed to be mirror images of one another, but promo's in the future could distinguish one skin over another.

If you get a big roll there, you would really want the PrePaid Debit card they offer. Once establish they dump your funds onto that card and you go to the local ATM. That card has a lot of fee's but much less than $60 or w/e.

Love the new look at ACR/BCP. It so much more visually appealing and the table themes are nice. I was so tired of staring at the same tables all day. Now if we can just get a site similar to PKR poker going here in the U.S things would be awesome. Hell I'd even consider paying a higher rake just for the luxuries afforded to players at PKR. (Don't tell them that though!)

I checked out the software yesterday. I don't currently have a bankroll on the network, but I have an account on America's Cardroom. I think it looks a lot better and I can actually navigate the site pretty well. I remember before I didn't make a deposit because I didn't like the software that much, but now I think I might try playing there more often. The only sites I can even make an account at are America's Cardroom (possibly Black Chip Poker, same difference), Lock Poker, Bet Online, and Bovada. I'm not to hip to Bovada's anonymous system yet, and Bet Online just doesn't seem to have enough tourneys over $10 to play in, so I don't even see making a profit there right now. Now I'm hearing about Lock Poker having withdrawl issues, and that's starting to concern me, because I've only been playing at the site a few months. So, now I'm trying to do some research and find out which site I can play and make profit and actually get my money in a timely manner. Anyone have any suggestions?
