So I went broke on FT not too long ago. I just played in a 600 ftp sng and won it! So now I have a sat token. Thinking about playing in the $17k guarantee coming up in about an hour. Is there any better tourney to play? Anyone playing in this event already?

Well I officially hate FT poker. They bone me so hard!!!! I was playing in the $24+2 sng where 3rd gets $66 and 1st and 2nd get $75 sat tokens. Well I am shortstacking. I have $1000 in chips and bb is at 300. I get A5 in the bb so I decide to push. Player on the button calls. He flips over J8o. Flop is 6s 7s 9s. He doesn't have a spade. Turn is a blank. Well guess what the f'in river is?!? It's a T to give him a straight. I'm so mad I can't see straight right now. Like seriously I was one person away from winning $66. I need to start my br again and don't want to deposit and I was so close! Screw FT! I hate their stupid rigged poker site. It's so obvious who the pre-determined winner is.

To be honest, I keep thinking there is some kind of hack in FT, 'favouring' the players with the larger stack so that the game ends faster - Could never prove this theory, but I can relate with your frustration, felt that way (too) many times - I mean, when I have 3 of a kind (8s) on the final table after the flop, and someone wins with 3 of a kind (Js) on the river, I'm ALL IN and he risks about 30% of his money... These happen once too many times - Again, its just a theory, couldn't prove it (yet!) :)

What happened to this thread?
It was a brag about a token and has turned into a "Fulltilt is rigged" thread.;)

It's not neccesarilly a "BS call" because he obviouslly limped at least (if not raised, you didn't specify) from the button, investing 300 into the pot, now you said you had 1000 chips, less 300 for the BB, so it was only 700 more for him to call, now depending on how much of his stack that was it wasn't neccesarilly a bad call.

He had like 3k in chips. So calling my shove put him at around 2k in chips if he loses. That's 1/3 of his chips on J8o. That's a BS call!

I am baffled by this - And I see that it has been discussed before - Can someone tell us more about this - Was there any real proof of rigged games? Or the opposite? I LIKE to believe that it is really random (as much as possible on computers) and not rigged - Your information will be most useful

BB is 300, so if he called there would be 750 (300+300+150) in the pot. Once you put 700 more it would be 1450 in the pot. He has to call 700 to win 1450 that is about 2-1 and you are only about a 3-2 favorite.

There is one rule that applies to all games - when you play with too much of your BR, bad things are likely to happen.

How did I play with too much of my br? Please explain. I won a sat token. I could either play a MTT or a sng. I had no options. I figured I had a better chance in the sng since 3 of the 9 got paid.

I didn't win $300. I won a satellite token worth $26. Then I took that and played in a sng with it where third got $66 and first and second got a $75 satellite token.

Edit: In the first post I meant a 600 ftp sng.
