Online Poker Forum - Player Transactions

So a few days ago i decided that i wanted to try to move about 1/2 of my roll back over to stars, as FT has been making me sick lately. It's been about 6 months since i've really played at stars and have been hearing nothing but praise lately. So i post on the FT forums, in the transactions section, and nearly every post is looking for the same thing. I don't think any of the post on the first page is looking for $ on FT. I just hope they notice that they are losing a large customer base, and possibly start running a nice promotion in the next little bit, but i'm almost dead set on moving most (if not all) of my funds to Stars anyway.

Just though this was a little entertaining.

Yeah i check the player transaction page at FT every now and then and it seems like every one is jumping of the FT bandwagon.

I think this month's promotion has a lot to do with it, and like a lot of people like me ... we are finding the Iron Man promotion to suck and the VPP program to be much better for cash gamers. In addition, you have so much more in terms of table selection, and softer opposition. The big draw for FullTilt is the "2nd most" traffic and the healthy first-time deposit bonus. Aside from that, pokerstars support is a lot better than FullTilt support from my experience.

That's a shame. As much as I like poker stars, the last thing I want to see is one major online poker site dwarfing the rest. That kind of thing can snowball, and the next thing you know, all the alternative sites are gone the way of the dodo.

I play at both. NLHE Sng's on full tilt poker and limit razz on stars. I found myself too frustrated on stars, without trying to cry cheating or that nonsense, with some of the beats I kept getting. Just the way it kept going.

Only thing about Stars is that for the low stakes ring games, especially limit games, getting FPP's is impossible as, for example, on the limit razz tables lowest limit, the rake doesnt go above 40c, but at least Stars has limits that I am suited to for these games, FTP doesn't.

But 27% rakeback at FT is much better than the VPP program unless you're supernova. And if you take the extra % of rakeback from the ironman promotion and what FTPs are worth, then you can only beat it by being supernova elite.

Fwiw, this July while clearing the ironman mid-year bonus, i'm getting about 70% rakeback equivalent.

Also, Stars software sucks compared to FT in regard to multi-tabling. Not sure how to describe the problem, but it seems like I have to click the PS table twice every time; unresponsive, as if it doesn't recognize that I want to be on that table with the first click.

Not all of us signed up with Rakeback Belgo. But that's a good point for a "new player" who wants to sign up at either.
