Anyone else having trouble opening the poker clients? I have BCP and ACR and both are giving me this error when trying to open them...

Sorry about the large image apparently I didn't crop properly and I can't find the edit button.

Anyone else having problems accessing America's Cardroom tonight or is it just me????

Hey guys,

I don't know why, but America's Cardroom is bugging out really badly tonight. I keep getting this weird sort of error message every time I try to open the program that says "some of the application files are missing. Please close the application and start it again to autoupdate it" I have been playing on this site nearly every day since I joined in Sept and have never once seen this message. I uninstalled and reinstalled the software and it still won't open. Anyone on the forum have any insight or experiencing the same type of thing??

Thanks for helping.

I have redownloaded the program a couple times, other than that there's nothing I can do. Program doens't open in any shape or form.

Looks like Avast pulled an important file from the clients as a "unsafe" file so it was hiding in the chest, had to restore it.

Open Avast UI

Click Scan

Bottom right of the screen first option

Right click the file you want and choose the option to place the file back

(You will have to shut off Avast protection each time you want to load a Winning Network client. Once it launches you can turn it back on. Otherwise it will happen everytime. If someone figures out how to keep from having to do al that let me know please! :) )

Thanks!

I had to switch to a different anti-virus. Can someone let me know if Avast stops causing that problem?

OK I figured out to get around the problem.

Avast allows you to exclude a path from being checked, so I excluded ACR and BCP from being checked, and it worked :)
