I like 888 you can play mobile on the browser, you don't need an App! Downside is player pool isn't huge! But it's not small you should just join every site and **** around on them for a bit and see what you like, non of them are bad per day it's all preference

Good room. A wide variety of tournaments. There are many freerolls, which attracts those who want to make less deposits. An excellent room, an excellent loyalty program, a lot of goodies for any players. If the site has any difficulties, they always solve everything as quickly as possible, and then they will compensate it with some cool tournament with a good guarantee. The only minus is the withdrawal of money after 72 hours, but all the same 5, as the room is excellent and the field of players.

If you play micro stakes the rake is higher than stars. I moved from 888 to stars as I also found the software laggy

Good room with excellent freerolls and plenty of tourneys. Rake is high for lower limit cash games. The support is good. Personaly, I like its software. always provide something for every segment of players.

In my personal opinion pokerstars and partypoker are the only sites worth playing.

There really is no point complaining about software; they all use similar programmes and none of them are rigged.

Not saying that 888 is bad, but it certainly isn't as good as the other two.

As for their support, be prepared to be kept waiting for at least a couple of weeks for any kind of proper response.

First of all the RNG is no different on 888 Poker or for that matter on other sites, than it is on PokerStars. So this is not a reason to try another site, and "unbelievable hands" are just part of the game on any poker site or in any live poker room. The more you play, the more used you get to all that crazy shit, which this game throws at you, and after maybe half a million hands it stops bothering you. At least this is, what has happened for me.

As for 888 Poker I think, it is a great site to play MTTs, but I prefer PokerStars for both SnGs and cash games. 888 Poker also has a lot of freerolls, and basically I think, there are two reasonable ways to approach the site:

1) You deposit, whatever is required for a welcome bonus and to get your account verified, so you dont have problems with later withdrawals, and then you mainly play freerolls maybe combined with some very low buyin SnGs for practice.

2) You deposit 500$ and play MTTs with a buyin up to 5,5$ as a start following basically the 1% of bankroll rule. This is, what I did, when I opened a new account on 888 Poker 3 month ago, and this graph kind of says it all:

I will say from my experience, if the hands seemed incredible on PokerStars, then on 888 they will seem like a fairy tale, especially the frequency of collisions of the strongest hands like full house and square, square and straight flush, and you will also be surprised at the luck of some players.

Each room has its own characteristics and reasons for doubt and reflection. There is no place where the game will seem fair to you, because there is always and will always be an element of luck in poker.:)

There is no reason to assume, that the card generation is anything but random at all the major online poker sites. If it seem like, a lot of "setups" or "action flops" happen, it is mostly because, these hands usually go to showdown, so we get to see, what people have. The majority of hands end without showdown, and therefore we dont notice all the hands, that failed to connect well with the board.

Moreover in games with many loose players, bad beats will happen more often for a simple mathematical reason. When people play "correct" poker, they often get out preflop or on the flop, when odds are not in their favour, and by doing so they do not realise the true equity of their hand.

Loose players AKA "fish" however take their hands to far, which cost them money in the long run, but they get to realise their equity more often, because they see more showdowns.

Hand example:

Hero is HJ with AsKd and makes a standard open with a standard 35BB tournament stack. A very loose player in CO makes the call. Everyone else folds.

Flop comes AhJs3d

Hero makes a standard C-bet for value, CO makes the call.

Turn is 8c

This is a fairly safe card for Hero, so Hero makes another standard C-bet for value, CO makes the call.

River is 4c

The board still looks pretty good to Hero, so he jam for value and get snap called by Jc4h, which improved to two pair on the river. CO had Hero covered, so Hero is now out of the tournament.

We have all experienced hands like this, but while they are annoying, when they happen, they do not indicate, that the RNG is rigged. After all Villain had more than 20% equity on the flop, so this will happen more regularly than hitting a 3 on a dice.

Moreover we need to remember, that in the long run we want him to call with J4 offsuit, because he is putting his chips in behind with bad odds, which allow us to be a long term winner.

888 has many freerolls. You don't need an app. All you need is internet browser.

regarding your comment onPs you're very right I don't know if the system is flawed but it's amazing the way they take the boats with the slightest rush of winning something that's not very common in 888

The only differences are likely to be the players. Clearly Pokerstars has the largest pool of players so you are more likely to run into all types of player there.

Pretty sure most of us will shout rigged at some point whatever site it is.

At least you can throw an egg in 888. Much better than the nonsense pokerstars has brought out. I'd like to throw a hammer at anyone slinging fireworks.

Oh, good information you can actually play 888 on a mobile phone. Is there more rooms except Stars that offer that? Is that a common by now?
