Hi!!!

Well my question and subject is about players that cheat and make colussions so they can have better odds in table// tournament....

As you can remember for sure one game that players were cheating. .

But.... Why ??? I don't believe that is that difficult to get information about your device location...

Ok ... Maybe you don't have to be near other player so you can simple chat or by a phonecall...

Anyways ... Is there a way of know this ??... Lol :)

I just saw a new that famous poker player and ex-wife get to final table I believe wass. Big tournament.

Sucks... :icon_joke

I am pretty sure no poker room allow collusion. But small rooms or Apps might not have the ressources or technology needed to combat it effectively. This is one of the reasons, why its better to stay with the large companies, who have a track record and a reputation to protect.

The easiest way to have a collusion is to register in a poker cash table by your mobile and let your friend to play in the same room by other mobile so that IP is not an issue and connect with your friend via Whatsapp and try to loot a player's money.
The other method is bonus misuse--
Here are the procedures-
1- Have a verified account.
2- Create another new account by using other mobile and VPN from other country and do take the initial bonus offered by the site.
3- No need to verify other account as it only requires during withdrawals.
4- Register to a heads up games with both account and after doing mock drills get all the money in verified account and enjoy it.

Disclaimer- This is for educational interest only.

Hi! I know for a fact that Poker King forbids playing from one IP address. poker stars allow it if they know for sure that it's not the same person. My husband and I are both registered on pokerstars, they blocked us once, then we explained everything, sent our documents and they allowed us to play. But we mostly play in different tournaments and at different limits. There are rarely identical tournaments.

Hi!

Because money overrides the rules. There will always be people like that, unfortunately. There are things like this or that in every area of life. :( Why would it be different in Apoker? :( The good thing about this is that they don't have such a large number of people yet. The bad thing is that you're in trouble when you're just sitting down at a table like this.

Poker room apps may allow collusion due to challenges in detecting players cheating through collusions for better odds in table/tournaments. While device location tracking could help, it might not prevent communication between players. The difficulty in ensuring proximity and the potential use of external communication methods like chat or phone calls contribute to the challenge of detection.

Despite efforts to address collusion, instances of cheating, as seen in a recent news report about a famous poker player and their ex-wife reaching the final table of a big tournament, highlight ongoing concerns in the poker community.

If there is money involved there is always cheating involved. Sometimes the apps are only in it for the short term and don't care as long as the rake comes in.

Playing live is very difficult to collude, while playing online, collusion is very likely to occur

Actually, collusion is very easy in live poker. Go to any casino that is new to you and you will quickly see all the relationships and friendships between regulars, dealers, sometimes even pit bosses. A lot of cross table talk and rule breaking that is never called out. I have played at private games where it was so obvious that 2 or more people were colluding. What are going to do about it? Call them out or accuse them and you are likely to get a beating and ejection, or maybe no more invites. So you shut your mouth and watch and try not to get mixed into their ploys. This is when having the nut hand pays off though. And you can choose to stay away from those games as well. I live in a small place and pretty much everybody who is a regular poker player knows who the cheats are. Some of these folks have been known cheats since they were children and they still are!

Well cheating will always take place as you said anyone can cheat online is just a matter of communicating over skype or other platforms. They are aware of same family members playing together but they cannot play in the same tournaments or at the same cash tables. They will get banned from that sight and flagged so that other sites are made aware of them. Aside from this there is not much more that can be done. They have been cracking down on bots put live people are a different story. Good Luck at the tables. Oh yeah and never blame your bad luck on saying that someone is cheating, that just make you sound like a sore loosing cry baby!!! GL

Actually, than is not as true as you would believe. I have seen collusion in live games in Las Vegas. I actually think it less likely online but I play mostly tournament poker. Online with so many tables the likeliness of getting 2 players on the same table that want to collude is less likely but many live games tournament have become very small and you could possible get together to collude much more often.

poker rooms nowadays have the ways to fight against collusion or AI software , but they don't seem eager to do so , they hunt the little fish scammers leaving the big fish or the poker room bots untouched . usual practice by all poker rooms .
