Why does noone play at betonline?

The competition is zilch. The games run fairly smoothly but it just seems like there arent many players on at a certain time. I put $50 on today and in an hour of 2 tabling .10/.25 limits i was at $100. Why is noone playing here? lol

Isn't it obvious, no one heard of it. Betaonline have to do better advertising adjustment if they want more customers. You could help by spreading the word.

I play at BetOnline, and I agree there aren't many players on. need more advertising. the software seems to be running smoother, less crashes. hope to see more players there soon. also hope HEM or PT3 maybe can be made to work with the BO software

dont shoot your mouth off. just because i only have $50 on the site doesn't mean thats my whole bankroll. im not just gonna throw 2k on a website that i have hardly heard of before......

Have the software issues improved at all? I couldn't handle the shoddy interface and regular disconnects (not on my end), or the way the software auto-sits out when I change tables. I figured it's not worth depositing until this improves.

I am just that stupid. I kinda assumed if I deposited $50, i should play at that BR level. but I have a good chunk of money in my poker savings account at me bank. do you think I can play higher and just deposit more if I run bad? I'm with you, I'm not going to deposit large sums on a poker site right now, known or unknown. just to much crap can happen from the DOJ.

Not a mouth shooting off............ Playing 10/25 with $50 is terrible BRM, and no one can read your mind about why you are doing this.

If you plan on re depositing if you go broke, well, ok, but still........... It looks bad and you should see and accept this.

Post berating you was justified IMO............ Many players play BAD BRM, so it needs to be said......

it was for an hour and i WASN'T trying to grind a BR out you goon. i was just trying the website out. gimme a break on the bankroll management lecture. i know how it all works and trust me i play within my limits once i actually commit to a site. i only play 3% for cash games and 1% for mtt's. so trust me my bankroll management strategy requires more grinding than yours.

with the level of competition at this site you should be fine. im by no means a shark but some of the players on that site are just awful. i was watching a higher limit table and a guy went all in $250 with a pair of 7's. the guy who called him had raised and reraised preflop with rockets. the guy who had a's won an easy $300. if you come from the bigger sites that got canned you should be fine. betonline players seem to throw money at one another. the only thing that sucks is the withdrawal fees and the min withdrawal is $500. but then again i never withdrew money unless it was over $1000 so it doesnt bother me much

Ok i wouldn't put a ton of money on a site either at this point and time.That being said i assume due to your comments your shopping around for a new home to play at?3% rule means you have at least $800 for your bankroll. Accuring must have took some time grinding with proper brm right? So you know the ups and downs in ONE given session?If your tring to splash around on a couple of sites to check out the software villains etc.why not play at a lower limit till you found out.What were going to do if you didn't even get a chance to get a feel for the site before you got cold decked only TWICE keep going back an paying WU a large vig?

I am going to put a small br on this site. I will not play outside of it but I will grind it up slowly. My problem is the software is HORRIBLE.. Today I was in a freeroll ( I want to try to build a bankroll with this first ) At least two times the site froze up and both were with MONSTER hands !!! I ended up in 22nd place out of 400 but I could have very placed in the cash if it had not froze.

The still have the glitch problem. Once it sits you out its hard as heck to get back in. I normally end up closing site and reopening, one of the reasons I have not made a deposit and will continue to just play the freerolls.

Without getting too far into specific sites and processors, I'd say he didn't use WU ;)

I have several sites that I play in that everleaf network already. Yrs back, that network wanted to limit players to one acct within that network. I have several friends that played multiple sites within that network only to get the dreaded email telling them to chose 1 site only to play within that network within a couple weeks.

I do not think I could recommend a site based on 1 hour of play. If you had lost it all in an hour, I assume a bad rating would have been given?

Well for one, it just launched not too long ago...it will take time.

Also, i'm not a big fan of the software...I like merge better...but its a pretty soft site to make money on. I have turned 0 into $30 while putting very little time into it.

I am trying to keep that in mind while I play.. I hope it will get much better with traffic. I know minted is having a REAL hard time with that.. not to hijack a thread.
