Why do poker rooms need a utility bill in my name for a withdrawal?

Can somebody please tell me what is the purpose for a cardroom to ask for a utility bill in my name for a cashout. If I am sending then a copy of my drivers license that should be enough identification. Besides all of the utility bills is in my fiance's name, anyway can somebody please tell me whats up with that.

So they can prove that you live at the address that you live at.

I think it also helps them make sure you are not underage, since people can get fake ids. I suppose you could get or make a fake utility bill too. It probably is an additional impediment to multi-accounting too. It gives them an excuse to hold onto your $$ while they review docs figuring maybe you'll end up loosing while they take their time review docs, then they don't have to send it.
