Why cant Pokerstars add "pot" button?

When play in pokerstars,I feel very inconvenience to input the number of chips I prepare to bet.The slider is uneasy to controll.Sometimes it make almost run out of time.I have two question:
1.Why cant Pokerstars add a "pot" button,when peopke click it ,they can get the pot size bet easily.And some poker site even have "1/2 pot" and "1/4pot".
2.Why cant pokerstars add a place in whice people can input and number at will?

1) Pot is illegal in the state of PokerStars.

2) There is a box to type in the exact amount that you wish to bet.

If there was a "Bet Pot" button, then the players who didn't know how to play would be far more dangerous. I much rather they min-bet every street, instead.

I agree that PS's slider is really bad. Personally, I use AHK scripts that allow you to use the mouse-slider to increase/decrease bet in big blinds. You can also customize them to bet pot on a right-click.

Yep, something about a Pot button makes it much more interesting to press than a shiny Fold button.

Mine has a box to type in the exact amount that I want to bet, it currently has 400 typed in it in this picture, but I can click on it and change it...

The reason stars has no "bet pot" button is that it discusses software improvements with its pool of regular players and those are overwhelmingly opposed to such a button being present.

Mostly because it would make the fishes play less badly, which is bad for the sharks.

And because all the regs use ahk scripts for bet sizing anyway, so the button would be useless to them.

I dont use AHK scripts and I can move the slider just fine....

I mean how tough is it you cant move a slider? When I want a more exact bet I do as other suggested and type in the number, all within the allotted time.

But I really dont understand your slider issue--it isnt hard to do at all unless you have a problem with your computer

I dont know what you mean by "AHK" and "scripts" here.Please kindly explain for me.

My problem of moving the slider is I play three or more tourney at the same time often.So the windows are small and when I move the slider,the number skip so big.I always cant get the accurate number I want to bet.

i was wondering the same question. it would be nice to have the pot button. i hope in the future stars adds that feature.

I plan on trying that script. The bet pot button looks interesting to have

Just type the number in the box...

Doesn't everyone have a numeric keypad for online poker?
Pretty sure the 'pot' button is there mostly for cash-game play...although a ton of noobs use it on sites when c-betting the flop.
Also.. Auto Hotkeys sites... tons of different things you can use there.
