You can check the sites website and see if they are licensed by a gaming commission if their physical location. If they are then you can find the address for that commission and send them your complaint.

For example, pokerstars holds a license from the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission. So go to their site to see how to file a complaint.

The burden of PROOF, is on you. So, that means meticulous work on your part.

You must present yourself concisely, and clearly and have FACTS to present.

Nothing short of Facts will garner any support, anywhere.

I emphasize, FACTS, not suspicions, not rumor, nothing but cold hard FACTS, gathered over a sufficient sample size to be significant.

Also, explaining the nature of how you were cheated will help. In the OP you only state you were cheated. I got cheated out of some sales tax money today, and I could actually prove it, but whether or not it is worth my time is another question.

So think long and hard about this, and KNOW deep in your heart that this is a crusade you are willing to make. Then start gathering FACTS.

That's the problem, because i am feeling like i am putting up against the wind as for facts merge does not save backgammon history so u cannot proof anything u only have what they are giving to you and u must believe them and cannot say it was not that way.But u really have a point at thinking it is worth to make a war that is almost lost from the beginning! tyvm for your advice!

I know FullTilt takes any accusation very seriously and will investigate suspicious activity if you let them know about it. They have history of all recent hands, I've seen people getting banned from FullTilt for working together with other players to knock out a table. I bet other poker sites do the same, you just have to talk to them.

That's ridiculous. You received an infraction for posting an affiliate link. This would have nothing to do with that, as there should be no need for you to post any links like that to bring forth your facts/suspicions.

probs

I dont know your problem, but if somethings fishy,We as a group can pressure sites to look into something,or fix a problem by shareing with each other on forum.Theres usually a problem area to post problems.I dunno if your problem is onw we can solve as a group since I dont know what it is.You might wanna pm a forum owner or moderator before ya post something like that.,to see if its allowed.
If its happened to you,its prolly happened to somebody else too perhaps.

You really didn't give us much detail on what you think the cheating was. Try to give a little more detail on how exactly someone can cheat at backgammon?

Am I naive in thinking that players are usually the cheaters? Do sites really cheat and rip people off?

Jilly is right here, check on the site usually at the bottom of the page and you will find all the links. For example microgaming are all signed up to eCogra and you can file a complaint through them...(I know your problem isnt microgaming, just giving an example).

cheating at backgammon is like this you play a 1/2$ game (just an example) with no doubling cube and at the end u have almost every stone out but your opp did not take any of his stones and leaves the game and after the time runs out u find out that you only win 1$ instead of $ as normal this happened to me just once but there are plenty more examples, here is another one: backgammon i click accept to a player, the game starts....the dice shows that it is his turn i wait and wait and wait always checking if it is my turn or his,it was his,and after the time runs out i get a wonderful message that i have lost the game ! they say it was a conn problem although i was playing ring games too at that exact time! So i ask you is this cheating or soft problems or whatever it is but why they don't recognize it and pay u back your money that you have lost!?

Actually, I dont know about this guys problem....but if you are having SERIOUS issues with a poker site (or even other gambling site) there is a great alternative available that I discovered a while back.

Casinomeister is a self proclaimed industry watchdog...and if you have a "truly" serious problem and have exhausted ALL of your poker site avenues, they will intercede on your behalf and they have been successful many times in producing a positive outcome.
