I don't even think Doyle plays at Doyle's Room.

It's part of the Cake Network, which I play on. I really only play cash games and it's pretty soft competition. I wouldn't expect the tournament players to be very good either.

Also you can get a decent deal on rakeback if you look around.

I read you can't use pt3 on Doyle's Room as Cake network doesn't allow it.

Doyle plays the Bounty every week, or at least it's supposed to be him playing.

It's basically the same as other Cake skins except for any special trinkets each skin might throw in like the Monday Night tables and freerolls offered at PO and SB. I don't think Doyle's has these tables.

Which skin? I was thinking about depositing on Cake itself.

Cake

If you're into freerolls and like the Cake network, cake itself is probably the worse of the sites that use that format. Used to play there but haven't in 7 months. Sportsbook is good and Doyles rate about the same also they have casino that you can download when you want something different.

Did I say 'I do'... cuz I 'used to' but don't play on there much anymore & really only play 6MaxNL on that site (where the tables are very soft). SNG's have really weak play as well (in micro limits <$10)... BIG difference compared to Fulltilt.

I've played the $27 Bounty a few times.... players are about as good as a $1 MTT.... .they're TERRIBLE.
Shipped a 6handed MTT on there (before they joined Cake) and players were calling down really light so you could valuetown the hell out of them (maybe I got lucky with table selection??)

The reason I was going to deposit on Cake was b/c I heard they have by far the fastest and most reliable cashout system vs. the other ones. I heard Doyle's Room is an absolute nightmare in terms of cashing out.

Hey Laf! I started playing there for some sort of promotion but haven't been able to figure out when their free rolls are. Could you fill us in here or PM me?

Doyles Room

The freerolls aren't much now that they aren't doing the bonus specials. They just have the 200 chip special. Where they split chip between i believe its 30 players and the entry to satellite. Where 7 win entry to 250K tournment. The bonus special was from the Feb. 13 to Feb. 16 to celebrate the opening of the store.

With your 1st deposit at Doyles, you get your buy in back ($27.50) for their famous bounty tourney, where you can win big money if you take out one of their pros. So, it's basically a free shot. (You have to have the money to buy in first, then they rebate it to you the next day). The one time I played it, I was so pumped, and nervous, since I don't play that high of a buy in. The very 1st hand I had pocket sevens, and flopped a boat, sevens over nines. Turn was a four, and that's when all the money went in. River was a nine. Villain had K-9. I lost to quad nines. Arghhhhhhhhh.

I was seated with Mike Caro the first time I played the bounty. He played ultra-tight until the blinds were killing him. Unfortunately I didn't get his bounty.

I havent played doyles room to often but im sure if youre trying it for high stake the players will be good. I also not sure how they do payouts. I prefer sites with more players. I just like the challenge.

I'd play on sportsbook/playersonly(both affiliates of CC) way before Doylesroom. Both have better promotions and have a sportsbook if you feel the urge to do some betting
