You are wrong - it is way more than enough. All of PokerStars events are "funded" by money made from the players, plus in almost all cases they make more than enough to cover their guarantees. On the very rare event that they have to add money to meet a guarantee - they just make a very tiny dip in the millions/billions they have in profit off every other event and game.

Never worry about where PS gets their money - they are doing just fine. :)

When if need be cancel the late registration in tournaments (for example as per some fiscal authority's request in order to estimate the own fund of PS involved to the business) should we worry?)

There are some legal troubles for the current owners of pokerstars, something to do with Amaya stock price. You can read about it on google.

I just looked at this in BetOnline Poker(sorry, I'm US based, otherwise I'd be on PS) and found out that for nearly all of their tourneys, the entry fees(not the prize pool) totaled up to between a 3rd and 4th place payout.
I was pretty shocked at how much it actually was.

Amasing pokerstars have so huge profit, that number is very big.Sites like pokerstars can really easy have money for all tournaments because rake size and other things in sites are created to be more profitabe for casino but that dotn mean that we cant win some money, players can also if they are smart or lucky get a lot of money.

Well, firstly, they do not launch 10M events every week, you probably meant Sunday Millions. The biggest I saw was over 11M in the recent WCOOP main event and similar events take place, may be, several times a year. Stars don't need to fund them, they actually earn decent money from them. Solely, Sunday Million brings them over 75K revenue a week, because the field of players usually exceeds the guaranteed amount. The same happens with most of other tournaments with looong late registration ;-)
Secondly, the article mentions huge revenues, but not net profits, which are different things. And we should also not forget about high taxes applied in the gambling industry, even though they might be registered in some offshore jurisdictions )
So, actually players themselves fund those big million events, Stars only arrange the required space and earn their fees [emoji383] [emoji383] [emoji383]
Even if they announce and properly promote a 50M tournament, there will be enough volunteers to make it happen without serious exposure )

I very often saw how the tournaments started with insufficient number of games, and constantly asked the same question

That's true, they start with insufficient number and continue with late reg. In the end, you see that they always have more than sufficient number of players)

Some poker stars history

PokerStars was founded by an Israeli senior programmer for IBM canada, Isai Scheinberg. He began to write the software that would form the basis for PokerStars in the late 1990s and formed Rational Enterprises, originally based in Costa Rica, to operate his new poker site. On September 11, 2001, the site was launched in beta version for play money only. A few months later, in December, the real money version was opened.
After a few years operating in Costa Rica, PokerStars announced a move to the Isle of Man, a British Crown dependency, in 2005. Scheinberg’s decision to shift to this location was influenced by the 0% corporate tax rate and the island’s policy to remove all bans on companies that were accepting poker bets from US players. The site was granted an eGaming License by the Isle of Man Department of Home Affairs under its Gambling Regulation Act of 2001.

“The decision to relocate to the Isle of Man was unanimous,” said the Director of Communications for the site, Nola Dolla. “The infrastructure on the Island meets all of our current business needs and strategies and the regulatory structure permits PokerStars to operate to its full potential. We are grateful to the Government for their support and guidance in acquiring our e-Gaming License and look forward to developing our future plans on the Island.”

wonderful, so anyone who has any money in PS better not need it too bad , if they shut PS down like they did Full Tilt - anyone who had money in their accounts couldn't get at it until they reopened the site ! ( mow FT and PS are one and the same )
