Can someone tell me the best place to play as far as claiming the bonus goes. I am a small time player. I am looking at joining only 1 site for now. I want to get the best bonus for my buck, but it seems like it will be hard to claim these bonuses because I will only be playing (small) money. i.e $5 tourney's and .25/.50 limit holdem.

In that case I would start off on Ultimate bet as if I remember correctly their bonus doesn't have an expirary time.

The bonus is 40% up to $200, so if you can afford to deposit $500 you will be able to get the whole $200. You don't have to leave the whole deposit in the site either from what I remember.

yeah Grumble is right,

most of the other sites you do really need more time/hands to play and get your bonus.

Interpoker seems like they have a really easy bonus to clear. Its onlyu 8 hands per $1. I think that includes hands that you dont post any money. Plus those hands count toward your $40 monthly bonus.

While I am not sure I am advocating it party poker's intial bonus was quite easy to clear. 5x raked hands but any hand with a pot over a dollar is raked and when you play their lowest limit, .25/.5 it clears really fast. Be warned the going is quite stressful on their limit tables, suck outs seem to win every hand. Now also I cleared my Noble bonus very easily although their requirements sound a little tough because a pot isn't supposed to be raked until it reaches 5 bucks. I cleared mine at 10 bucks a day without playing many pots over 5 bucks, so that one still confuses me. My favorite though is the way Pacific does their bonuses they let you play with the bonus at the tables right away but to cash it you have to wager 20x the bonus amount.

If your playing on the lowest limits on party then expect suck outs, its full of new players who will just call down with anything.

Moving up to the $1/2 tables and you can generally push some players off the pot, you need to pay attention and realise which ones will still call though and just show down the best hand against them.

The same thing applys up to the $3/6 tables as well, its just richer idiots on those ones though ;]

Good Bonus Sites

For small-time players, like me, i recommend royal vegas Poker for their bonus program--even for big time players. They give you $10 for free and they have a 40% deposit match I think w/ reasonable rake requirments.

Depends on what you consider reasonable RV a hand only counts if it is raked 25cents or more. For a slightly above average player it is reasonable but for your average internet dummy like me imho there are easier sites to clear your bonuses at.

What sites do you have in mind? I'd be interested in them--please share. I understand your comments about RV, too, but you can be dealt into a hand at a .05/.10 table there and as long as the pot is more than .25 at the end of the hand, you get credit--not all of the Prima's count raked hands this way, but RV did for me--this was some time ago, though, so maybe they've changed their procedure.

You have to CONTRIBUTE to a pot that is RAKED .25 or more for the hand to count on RV. Pokerroom the hand counts as long as you are dealt cards if you contribute or not doesn't matter. 2 sites I like as far as getting your bonus money are Party and Pacific for different reasons though.
