Hi,

I've got 10 bucks in neteller and I was wondering what would be a good place to deposit?

for now, i'm torn between PS and FTP, I believe PS has more players so that should be the way to go but I hear great things about FTP over here.

I heard that PS is not a very 'soft' site in terms of players, but elsewhere I hear because of the extensive marketing PS is a haven for fish as well.

Would really appreciate some feedback.

Thanks.

It depends on what you play. If you play tournaments PS can't be beat for game selection. I much prefer their software as well. Personally I would only play at FT if I had rakeback and I don't so I only play there once in a while.

yea SnGs and the usual tournaments. I don't really get the fuss about rakeback. FTP is considered better because of rakeback, I am new to the concept of rakeback, but I believe it is a refund on the percentage of the rake of the games you play in? If so, isn't that a very small, negligible amount?

It can be significant if you play any kind of volume at all.

Definitely deposit on PS or full tilt. I feel the software and game play of full tilt is much more appealing. I also feel full tilt has better sng's and mtts. If you want mtts with huge fields of 3,000 or 4,000 for a simple $2.20 buy-in, go with stars. If you want fields of a few hundred, go with full tilt. If you want cash games, they both offer many tables at various stakes, but pokerstars has some more game selection, such as five card draw, that full tilt does not yet offer.

one reason why i'd prefer pokerstars is because they have SnGs for under $1, considering im depositing only $10, it would be an issue as FTP only has SnGs with a minimum buy in of $1.
