I would consider myself a strong heads up player, been playing regulary at $2/$4 I have a bet going with a guy to see if I can turn $0.00 in to 1k in a month so to grind up the stakes I want to play heads up cash somewhere. Does anyone know a poker room (online) that I can play micro/low stakes HU cash?? also what other BR builders would you reccomend for early on?

I know that some networks run HUNL games as low as 2NL, but obviously the rake is really high!

First of all you gotta know how to make 0.00 $$$ into something! Free rolls are usually the way to go, and every online gaming site has them. You play those consistently and eventually you'll get some money. The problem with hu holdem now is that you'll only be able to play it if you play like 1 dollar or 2 dollar sng's that are hu. You won't find any tables available at the 1 cent 2 cent because it isn't practical for the poker rooms to create so many tables when the rake they get from it will be so minimal! So the SNG's are the path you should take, and once you get enough money you can start playing the 1/2 dollar hu tables that already exist. Cheers!

Yeah ty for the advice, been playing the national freerolls at FTP and also using my frequent player points a lot, all going well atm. (day one turned $0 into just over $10, now im at like 26 with a bit of good old fashioned grinding :) )

ACR/BCP have HU at every stake (all the way down to NL2), but the rake is near-unbeatable at those levels. Seriously, even assuming you supernit it up it's like 20-25BB/100. I consider myself a semi-competent HU player and the competition at 2NL is terribad, and I nevertheless managed to dump like 6 BIs before I gave up and started playing 6max.

Don't play micro HU cash games. The rake is just too big. If you strictly want to play HU , then try HU SNGs, plenty of them on Stars. Very beatable at lower stakes, and plenty of Russian fish that will often call you down with middle/bottom pair...

888 has the softest HU SNGs IMo, but the traffic is not so good.
