Happy New Year everyone! I haven't played poker in years, since it was big on TV, and I'm sort of interested in getting back into it. What real money sites are out there right now that USA citizens can play on? Thanks!

Bovada, Black Chip and Carbon, in my opinion are the only ones worth a damn

Black Chip is the only one with good freerolls for non depositors.

Good luck

Hello,

Americas Cardroom is the fastest growing poker site in the U.S. We have been in business since 2001 and we have super fast payouts.

Our top promos we have are the FREE Rake Races for Ring Games (The Beast), FREE Point Races for Sit & go's (Sit & Crush), Jackpot Poker tourneys

You can deposit with CC, person to person transactions and also Bitcoin, the best option right now. Here you can find all the info about depositing

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need any help or assistance.

ACR is good with bitcoin deposits / withdrawls

Decent tourneys, but cash games are infested with regs

Bovada has better cash games and a bigger pool of players for tourneys

Bovada #1
ACR #2

Dear ACR

When are you going to implement the option that I can see my opponents cards on the river if they called a bet? I have asked this on twitter & U gave me the response of our technical people know about the issue & are working on it. This was over 3 months ago.

So I ask once again WHEN will I be able to see the hole cards of my opponent if they have called me on the river?

You have many options to choose from, however I will tell you a main strength of each site that I have found.

ACR has a 27% rakeback so that is a great feature to have.

Bovada has a tremendous cash-out policy & I have always received my check w/in 7 business days.

My personal favorite sites include BetOnline, America's Cardroom, and Full Flush Poker. All have great freerolls.

Based on the fact that I have been able to successfully withdraw from Black Chip and Americas Card room and they have a reasonable amount of mtts based on the current environment I would give them a thumbs up.

Bovada has the softest cash games and best tournament schedule IMO. ACR/Blackchip if you want rakeback and they also have some god tournies.

What are regs?

Regulars. The same guys that sit out and wait for "new blood" to sit.

The guys that are nits and sit around for 5 hours grinding rakeback.

The ones that ruin games.

I never played on Bovada So I can not comment. Carbon Poker is way down on traffic these days, mostly due to slow cash outs.

Carbon is good, and probably the most linux friendly site to play on. Their client runs flawlessly on Win-d'ohs, and will run on any 32 bit compatible Linux through WINE. Doesn't make much difference, as the client looks and works nearly the same as "Instant Poker" that runs through the browser. I used the client to upload an avatar.

I haven't seen any evidence traffic is down at Carbon. As for pay outs, all I've heard is rumours and counter rumours. As for the vast majority of Carbon players, I'm sure that cashing out is one thing they'll never have to worry about they're sofa king bad.

I also play Bovada, and haven't had any problems running their client on Win-d'ohs Yecchs-Pee. They do offer games for lower stakes than does Carbon, if that's what you want. Also, more PLO games

There are other options, but those are the ones I can vouch for due to experience.

Try Full Flush Poker. They run the same software as BOL but they are not the same.

I play at Black Chip poker, but there loads of sites available. If you are short of ideas why not find some on Google?
