The site we play on can have a huge impact on our winrate, so I'm curious the reasons you chose the site you're currently playing at. I've been a poker player online for 3-4 years now, on and off, and have played on just about every network.

I started my poker days where most people do, Party/FTP/PS and stuck with it for some time. Being Canadian, I learned that I have a TON of options available and the idea of bonus whoring/getting VIP deals was something I definitely should be taking advantage of. At this point I wasn't a great player, but made a lot of money through bonuses/RB on various networks.

Anyhow, I'm currently on iPoker because their "VIP" deals make it the most attractive place to maximize my winrate. For those of you who currently aren't getting rakeback or some some of loyalty plan, look into it. For you Americans, I know you're options are limited, but Cereus/Merge network seem pretty attractive. And for us non-Americans, I'd recommend iPoker/Ongame/Microgaming, but given how Ongame has recently changed their loyalty scheme it's definitely not as lucrative.

The reason I post this is because I'm sure many of you don't have the information or are new to poker, and hopefully you can exhaust all your options to maximize your winrate!

For those of you with questions, ask away!

As a USA player im limited to which sites i can play at. I play mostly at absloute poker they have great micro stakes Guranteed tourneys from 3.5k to $150 all from buy ins from 25 cent to $1 as well as some good bounty tourneys even a Pro Bounty $3.5k gurantee on sundays they also have the WPT freerolls and the fastest growing bad beat jackpot and it does get hit often i also play at Doyles Poker they have good tourneys that instead of 600 plus in each one it is normally 300 and under even the Wensday nite pro bounty which in my opnion is the only pro bounty tourney which isnt just a plain joke Im gonna post a feed about pro bountys shortly to.I also play on fulltilt for there daily dollars and some of there freerolls if and also poker stars for there freerolls. I know i sound cheap by sticking to micro tourneys but i manage my bankroll the best i can im limited on my deposit options because the land of the free is not so free when it comes to how we spend our money ive been playing off a $40 deposit on doyles for a little over a year and 6 mths on AP for $30 i cant say the same for tilt though think im down about 30 in there and i have never deposit on poker stars before.

I play on Poker Stars exclusively. I've only been playing online for a little over a year and, being new and unsure of where to play I figured I'd just start with the biggest/ most well-known site. I'm American, so my choices are limited. In the upcoming year though I plan to branch out a little bit. Probably Full-Tilt first (assuming I can jump through all the rakeback hoops without getting to annoyed). After that I don't know.....

I started at Titan a year ago and wasnt too impressed..altho i mainly did freerolls with just a little 2NL.

pokerstars was next and i cleared a small bonus and kickback then moved swiftly to Fulltilt.

Once the fulltilt bonuses have cleared I might stick around a while longer with rakeback..plus I like taking advantage of the academy and Ironman promos.

But im sure I would be better off bonus whoring on sites that offer rakeback and DONT deduct it from your deposit bonus.

Nice:mad: . I had no idea FT did this. Something to think about before/if I ever get around to depositing there.

I play 90% of my poker on the World Poker Exchange

It is only a small site and the traffic is rubbish but for some
reason it suite me.

I dont mind PS but cant win at FT and since they changed their
rakeback to contributed even rush poker is no long worth it

I have accounts with about 25 sites and when I have a bad
beat or run on WPE I play somewhere else for a while but always
got back to my "home" site :)

I am a full tilt poker player. As someone above mentioned I like the ease of navigation on Full Tilt. The Full Tilt Academy is also good for beginers and The One a Day Iron man makes good sense also.

If you don't already have an account on FTP no hoops to jump through.Create you account put RAKEBACKPROS in the referral code box, then go to there web site an create an account with them.I used to play at PS an no where else but i have rack back now on FTP so i play there, unless you play mass amounts of volume doing this is a better option imo.
Edit:The only thing i realy miss is PS support.

Hopping between Ongame skins at the moment to whore their first deposit bonuses.

They work out at 62.5% cashback on sng rake so that suits me great at the moment. The games fill up in no time and the standard is low-ish.

For cash it's gotta be full tilt, because nothing compares with rush poker imo.

Full tilt is quite good. It got lots of Freerolls. I also like PKR, it is the only site I know which got Sit and Go freeroll and I got now a few hundred dollars without deposit and withdrawing money was very easy. However, I don't like the 3D stuff which made it so slow on my computer.

For me FTP is the one I generally go to, I have RB and have built a nice little BR without depositing.

I play on PS sometimes and I only deposited (actually a transfer) a small amount.

I like the software on FT better.
I like the custom avatars on PS

I play mainly at Full Tilt. Mostly because that is where I developed a bankroll from freerolls and expanded it playing for cash. So I have had relatively good luck there, the software is pretty good and it allows U.S. players, which is a requirement for me.

i play on pokerstars and fulltilt as you can always find good games.

but prefer pokerstars theme less clutered i think.
but the rakeback is better by far on fulltilt so split my time between two.

Curious, is there anyway to get rakeback on a FTP account that already exists?

Second, as this goes right with the theme of the post, I am an American and am wondering, which new site should I sign up with? I see that Pokerstars offers some nice deals for new accounts, wondering what else?

I do currently play at FTP, the only real reason is I started so long ago I've become very comfortable playing there. No other reason really.

I play at FT and UB because I've built up my bankrolls there with freerolls. I play a bit at Walker, but only because I got money through another forum, and I still haven't lost it. I used to play at Spade Club.

I've won more money at UB, but I think I prefer the interface at FT.

I play at FT because that was the first site where I managed to create a decent bankroll. Being european, I should definitely be bonus whoring, plus, I heard the tables are a lot more fishy in sites like Titan (can't be tougher than FT, really) but right now, after moving abroad, I can't be bothered. I've actually been getting out of my way to play the minimum 15 days at 125 points to get bronze ironman. And in January I'll be getting out of my way to try to clear my $100 ironman bonus. Guess I'm stuck at FT for the promotions.
