The villain has been completely loose raising every hand preflop with almost any two cards, purely agressive. I limped UTG there because I knew he'd raise and I was going to reraise. He raised $3, a bit more than usual, he was type of player that if he had AA, KK, QQ, or even JJ, he thought he had awesome hand so he would do standard raise of about 4xBB-ish. Thus, I thought either AK, which I doubted from him or AQ or AJ, both which I had absolutely dominated. So I called his push.

Just love it when reads work out.

If someone's been raising every hand and you're getting over 2:1 with AK, it looks like a fairly easy call. Gotta gamble to win...

BTW you very nearly have odds to call even if he has KK. AA is the only hand you shouldn't call against, and you have one of the Aces so it's even less likely that's what he has.

Sounds about right BJ.

Still, doesn't matter how obv or easy decision is for me, still go through a thought process.
