What's up with Bodog?

So, I get their email and I understand that bodog.com is having DNS problems because of a dispute regarding the ownership of the domain name. My Bodog software isn't working and they say I may have to download new software.

OK, so I download the new software and my PC tells me the file is corrupted. I try this about ten times. I finally give up hope and post here.

Anybody know what gives? Similar problems, anyone?

I had a similiar problem with it saying a .dll file couldn't be replaced, I deleted and uninstalled my old bodog files and then ignored the part about the dll file even though my windows didn't recommend it and it ran fine.

I uninstalled the old Bodog software too, but it didn't make a difference. The .exe file to install the new software wouldn't even run. Guess I'll have to try it on the laptop....

Weird...I had to reinstall the new software (like everyone else), but didn't seem to cause any issue by just installing it right over the top of the existing software.

Ya support said to Uninstall the bodog software completely,, then go to,,, newbodog.com/poker then reinstall it,thats what i did and its fine,,

Guess I better Uninstall it....not so sure it's going to get back on though...... not a fan of Bdog....

I maintain a Bodog account so I can play the Fri aft CC game. I almost never play there any other time, and if I go bust there, I certainly won't redeposit.For all it's quirks, I consider UB a vastly siperior site.

I think when bodog did the new one the should have changed it so you cant just auto fold all theh time.....I mean I don't really play for money cause I don't think I am good enough yet....but the site should cateer to everyone and it suck when you go to a sit and go and everyone just puts it on auto fold

i installed it over the existing software and it works fine.
