Probably has something to do with the fact that the US Attorney that shut down FTP, Stars, and AP/UB was from Southern District of NY.

Hey Everyone,

We do accept New York players. If you would like to see what deposit options we offer, you can either sign into your account or give our Customer Service Department a call 1-888-263-0000, ext. 2. They’ll be happy to assist with any deposit questions you may have.

Cheers,

Bovada Service
