I'm currently in two tourneys and now I'm disconnected and it won't even boot up bovada on my laptop!!! It's stuck on that Live update banner..

Is anybody else having an issue? It's 1:18 a.m. the east coast of U.S.

I hope I get refunded for this nonsense!

*EDIT* 1:21 a.m. I'm on the homescreen but it won't let me login now..

*EDIT* 2- Logged on for a couple minutes, disconnected me again. 1:24 now now just stuck on splash screen.. What a NIGHT!

*EDIT* 3- 1:33 a.m. still nothing.. I checked their twitter and they haven't said a word. 1:36 a.m. now.\

*EDIT* 4- 1:40 a.m. I'm playing again. Still unacceptable in my opinion! Lost about a thousand of chips on both tourneys from blinds. GREAT!

their website was down too, my poker client came back up for a short while, showed me with a higher bankroll, and showed that i finished in 14th spot in my tournament for $84.42...I guess I got blinded out because when I first got disconnected I was in 3rd position.

How did you lose anything if everyone was d/c? It should've just folded to the BB every hand.

Either someone was able to stay connected or somehow everyone lost chips. I'm not sure it's possible for everyone to lose chips though. They have to be accounted for somewhere.

i have no idea, when i re-connected, there were still 12 people showing as playing, I was 14th and shown as "finished" with 14,000 chips, compared to 30,000 chips when I disconnected.

I guess it wasn't everyone then. I suggest contacting support, of course. Good luck.

I emailed them, I'm not expecting much other than a canned auto-reply.

Hi Everyone,

We had some technical difficulties with the Poker Software earlier today and as a result, players may have encountered disconnection issues. We're very sorry for the inconvenience this caused. If your issue hasn't been resolved, we kindly ask that you contact our 24/7 Customer Service Team either by phone or email and a representative will be more than happy to assist you.

Kind Regards,

First of all, I do appreciate the reply, Bovada. I will be calling Bovada when I get home then. You can't get disconnected while trying to play a turbo tournament! That's unacceptable! The frustration, and the loss of my chips wasn't of great help at all.

Connection problems

Usually when I'm playing on Bovada and there is a problem with the tourney, Like everyone keeps getting disconnected or it's running slow, I always call and complain and they give me a tourney ticket for free. Once it happened on a freeroll. The table just kept disconnecting everyone and when I complained they Gave me a nice tourney ticket for free.

Thanks for the heada up Sidesteal. Another problem i'm having now is with the Bovada App. If i'm in a hand with other players and I get disconnected, I lose the hand and my chips. Even if I get connected within seconds.

So I think I'm gonna give up on Bovada, there's just too many glitches from their main site, to the app. It's practically stealing my money.

Ok I emailed bovada, and, of course, they sent me an email back saying the problem was on my end.. But, I guess they didn't realize that they replied to me in this very thread saying that THEY were having the problems! I expected that. So, Now I have to find the tournament numbers that I was playing when this occurred.

It should be easy right? We'll see. I'll post the results here when this is done.

My typical encounters with their support team have been top of the line compared to other poker sites. Yes, they will respond initially with that canned auto reply email. Yes, it will take them a day or two to get back to you about the situation. Ultimately in the end, however, they are able to pull through. I don't have any experience contacting them about being disc though.

My experience with other sites deal with me emailing them over, and over, and over, and never hearing anything back...

Glad to see they refunded you the amount though. They made good of a bad situation it seems.

Yes Kid, it was a pleasant experience indeed. I'm glad to be playing on a site that respects their honest players. Btw thanks! :)
