Hi I'm new here posted in introduction no one responded yet :( but I'm sure they will and I can get to know people here :)

I play $20 games live mostly tournaments sometimes cash games with blinds 25 and 50 cents I do ok I know I'm not the best but I know the basics and my friends aren't that good

Anyway got a bonus the other day and the wife agreed to let me use some of it to try out online poker . The problem is I don't know where to start, not sure what games to play, what site. I think I might want to start out with $10 tournaments or so maybe 25 50 cent cash games and I'll buy in for $20 like I do at the home games. Just don't know too much about online and although I don't think it's rigged might want to try lower stakes before I see the slight adjustments in the cards from live poker since a computer will shuffle differently than a dealer just like some dealers will deal different cards because they'll shuffle different. Rambling a bit basically confused looking for help thank you :D:rolleyes::p:p:D

Welcome to CardsChat, alot of the information you are looking for you may be able to find using the search feature.
As for sites PS and FT are by far the best.
Good luck.

Yes as PooffyFooffy says pokerstars or Fultilt are two of the better sites. You may want to start at the $5.50 Sit-n-Go level or the $0.05/$0.10 blind NL (Also called $10NL since the max buyin is 100BB) ring game to start with. Online playes way different than live.

hmm been looking around Full Tilt seems to have a 100% deposit bonus but you have to clear it or something. If I put 50 bucks on how long would it take to clear it so I'd have 100?
