I heard people talking about Lock often recently.I think it is a new site comparing with poker stars,cake.Does the Lock come from a skin of a big poker room?

Lock is a skin on the Revolution network (used to be the Cake network). So their software is the same as the other Revolution skins like Cake and intertops.
They started on the old Cake network, then moved to Merge for awhile, then moved back to the Cake network, buying out the network and renaming it Revolution. Or at least that was the story at the time. Turns out they didn't really take over the while network, some part of the deal fell through, and they wound up with only a portion of the network (I've heard anywhere from 25%-40%). The name change stuck however.
They've always been controversial for one reason or another, but their latest infamy comes from two primary things: not paying the network their monthly reconciliation, which is driving some of the other skins away from the network tournaments and promotions, and not paying out players in a timely fashion, making them wait months and months for their money, all the while promising people that their payment is "in the next batch."
I was a Lock fan for years and withdrew thousands without issue from them in their early days, but I would definitely avoid them at this time. I get my Revolution fix at Intertops now.

These days I play almost exclusively on Intertops. Don't play cash so can't really speak to the mix of fish:regs, but there's quite a few fish in the SNGs/DONs I play. Looking at the lobby there are quite a few cash tables running though. Just be aware that most/all Revolution skins are segregating cash players into different tiers.

Thanks.So Lock have big problem.I will keep away from it .I like Cake network.So I can play in Intertops and other skins.We have to protect ourself if we want to play online.
