What exactly are T$ and what can they be used for?

Thats a question that I've been wanting to ask for a while and Jooses just reminded me. If I were to buy someone T$ that they got from a Sunday Million Satelitte...what can I use them for? Could I use for any tournement? What about SnG's? Any minimum limits? I've never really messed around with them.

ah...thats what I was looking for. I found an archived page about T$ and it didn't say. Anybody know about a minimum transfer?

I've done transfers on PS for as little aas $5, which I think is the site mini.
