What is always with 888 hometown?

I always wondered while playing on 888, and some players hometown are 888... I always thought they were workers until $10 HU sng and he said biiiiiiitch and I figured they wouldn't say such, still wonder what is with players with 888 hometown though.

I dont know. Maybe because they did not tell 888 about their country of residence? Could perhaps be old accounts from a time, where this was not required? I am really just guessing here to be honest, but I dont think, it is employees. Typically a casino does not allow its staff to play, and I assume, its just the same for online casinos.

I figure out they're not employee, and they're couple of them and that leads me to question here, was just wondering cause I have been playing quite awhile and seeing those.

I have spotted that as well but never understood why you don't see country of residence.

Asked the 888 rep on CC in the 888 support thread and his response "Some of the smaller countries do not have flags". Mystery solved?

Good to know. I always wondered about it too, but never questioned it with anyone.

Yeah sure cause i've seen some big european countries without flag aswell

But, those countries must have got names!!! So, why not to show their names instead of 888..
