I played a 3792 pls horse freeroll satellite today and placed 27th.

The first 88 got a ticket for the weekly round 2.

It will be a 2K HENL or Omaha-hi-pl either on saturday or sunday.

Question: Does the ticket stay valid for the next week, too ?

I don't know if I'll have the time to play.

And I'm not that good at Om-hi-pl either.

(though I made it through the horse tourney...:hmmmm:)

...or can I turn in the ticket for something else ?

Congrats! Yeah, I know they send you an email saying you've qualified for 'this week's Round 2, but the ticket is good forever. Just don't register for a Round 2 until you are ready. I have 8 of them now, and haven't gotten a chance to use them. Unlike you, I don't like NLHE, and prefer Omaha or HORSE. Saturday is always HE, but about every other Sunday, they offer a game I like. Unfortunately, I love to watch football, or was entertaining company a few Sundays. Oh, I don't think you can trade them in for anything, but I THINK they are transferable.

I came in 7th in a VERY long Omaha H/L last night/this morning - actually (I) finished in 6 & 1/2 hours, game was still going!

You can't change them for anything else thats something i am sure about, and I believe there valid for longer then 1 week. So just save them and wait till your ready, and the game of your choice is there.

The level is for what I noticed the same as the round 1 atleast for the start, so just take your time and wait till the spots are there for your max. value of play.

Congrats on your 7th place too.
It's not that I don't like omaha, but I prefer Omaha hi/lo limit to any kind of pot limit.
(maybe I get sucked in and/or sucked out too often and too many weirdos going max all the time).
I love razz, too - that's why I play horse (skill counts here I hope :stupido2:)

Anyway thanks for the info.

I had some Round 2 tickets that went unused for nearly 2 months. As far as I know those tickets never expire.

I have earned a couple of tickets , after many, many attempts. Unfortunately the Round 2's are on at 2am Sunday and 5am Monday Sydney time, so I have not motivated myself to play them yet !!!

I always quit afer I get top 99 or top 88 whatever it is in the particular freeroll. Back when it was only the top 27 got a ticket I played all the way to second place in holdem not horse. I entered the round 2 thinking sweet I am going to take approx 10 mill. to round thinking the higher the finish the higher the starting stack in round 2. After I saw everyone started round 2 same stacks I vowed to never again play for first after I was in the ticket round. I just donk out and play a cash game or sng and try to make some money that way...

You have to manually register for the tourney-and you can pick which one you want.
