Anyone else playing in the Weekly Round 2 on pokerstars right now?

I've been up and down, but sitting at about 4500 at the first break, and the average pot is 2209. Hopefully I can start playing smart instead of kinda loose, although its gotten me to where i am.

I didn't realize you got to a pot limit format, which I am not used to playing at all.

Well, it was fun... made $0.70. Considering the 6 hours spent in the freeroll qualifier and and the 2+ hours in the weekly, I think I have a new .09 an hour job!

So this hand was my undoing.... comments appreciated. I am vanaus1

If this should now be in hand analysis I appologize.

Pokerstars is the worst site in the world for freerolls.
Why spend 6 hours in a qualifier to gain entry to a $1,000 freeroll. When you can go to bodog or Ladbrokes and play $500 and $1,000 freerolls about 5 times a day without having to qualifier?

Edit: (about the hand)
First i would not of limped preflop with 43 for 400 with only about 5K.
Then i wouldnt of checked the turn and give a freecard. Other than that, unlucky you lost the hand.

i play those pokerstars freerolls as well. since i downloaded bodog, i have been playing their freerolls a lot more than poker stars. but for me, i use the pokerstars freerolls as an oppotunity to see how i fare in tournaments and see if i can get better each time. i agree that i'd rather play freerolls without qualifiers, but i use it as a practice tool. i treat all other freerolls the same. pokerstars has 10000 entrants in their freerolls, my best finish was 440th and i was pretty happy with that.

The only time I ever finished in the money on a PokerStars freeroll was when Fell asleep half-way through.
I checked post & fold, turned of the computer and found out the next morning that I had coasted to a $0.20 finish.

Freerolls are not good practice for MTTs imo.
