I wish I was going with you. I played at the Silver Star in Philadelphia, Mississippi on New Years Weekend and did ok. Good Luck at the tables. May all your cards be live and your pots be monsters.

I go down to Foxwoods all the time, but never stay long to figure out how to get into the tournements. I tend to play the cash games and call it a day after 6 or so hours hihi

OK here's how it goes. I played in a Satty last night. Placed 7/27, top 3 paid. Played today $180/20 buy in. 723 entrants, lasted 1 1/2 hours, not too good.
Started with 5000 chips. Got through first level, 50 minutes, 50/100 blinds
Got A,Q..raised to 400 got 1 caller from button
Flop was Qc, Jh, 9c.
Raised 500 with top pair and top kicker, got called
Turn was 10d
Raised 1000 with top pair, top kicker, straight draw, got raised 1000, I called
River was 8c,
Bet 1000 got called I had queen high straight, villain reveals a 6c, 5c, for flush. pretty much crippled me, down to about 1400 chips.
I couldn't get this guy off the hand.
Can't believe he called my initial raise and bet on the flop.
THAT'S POKER.
On a side note , My wife won enough money playing slots to offset my losses. And one of my buddies from Boston is still in, 80 players left, 70 places pay.
Can't wait for the next Tourney
