So given the political climate in many countries as well as more companies "tracking" your location and other data to serve up ads and collect user statistics, VPNs have become hugely popular in recent years.
Obviously many of us have used basic "in browser" sites that mask our location/tracking information and some have used Tor Browser. But beyond that, there are now options that can create a VPN for an entire computer's network data in/out.
Of course for online poker, use of a VPN can create problems up to and including being banned or having an account seized. So my question for those who use whole system VPNs, is there a way to exclude the poker software from running through the VPN or does that just create a breach in the VPN anonymity anyways and make the whole thing a waste?
To be clear my use of VPN is for interest of privacy, not any type of software geographical work around.
TL;DR: Are there VPNs that can be customized to not interfere with poker software but run everything else through a VPN without leaking too much identifying data?
