I am really getting sick of PS and trying to move up the ladder as far as Limit goes. I sit and play 50c/$1 and finish ahead 2 of 3 sessions.

I move up to $1/$2 so I can get more FPP and just get railed and lose over and over with chasers. I then loose my entire stack and have to go back to the 50c/$1 to make it back up. I loose to two outers, people calling w/ 3rd pair and catch runner runner flushes, etc. I have lost on the river with my last 5 sets. 3 to bigger sets they catch on river (I don't blame them as much since they did have overpairs till then, but come ON, 2 outers). Lost one when I flop set of JJ with a board of J K 3 with one heart. Turn heart, river heart, he as the 66 with a heart and wins. Last one yesterday was I have 66, flop is 644, we cap it, turn 7, we cap it, river Q. He bets, I am now gun shy and just call. He has QQ to river a bigger full house! This has all happened in two day. My roll went from 180 to 80 so now i am stuck at the lower level completely until I get it back up to around 120.

Does anyone else have this problem when they move up a level? I am just sick of it. I would say that it is cold cards but if I play a 50c/$1 and a 1/2 side by side, the lower level one I make money and lose every hand on the upper level one.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Forgot to add that I am trying to get my FPP to 1500 for the month so I can move up to their silver star for next month because I have some vacation time coming and want to really crank out the points. I know I can play at that level but man the tables are just so cold.

maybe it cause your worried about moving up & about the FPP`s, Dont worry about the FPP`s and Dont put any pressure on yourself about moving up the ladder,, Only think about the game you are playing, Nothing else, and maybe it will all come together,GL buck:cool:

PS> forgot, just play as relaxed as you can

latest and greatest, I have AA and get one caller. Flop is 4 6 10, he bet, I raise, he raises, I cap & he calls.

turn K. Capped betting again.

river 4. he leads out. I am so gun shy now I just call. shows A4. How the @#$@^#$ do you call with that crap and cap betting?
bankroll is now down to 55.

I am playing very tight, only seeing about 15% of flops. I am just getting rolled over by donkey over and over. I think there are less chases on the lower levels some how. You can collect FPP just by being at the table so I am playing very tight.

ILost one when I flop set of JJ with a board of J K 3 with one heart. Turn heart, river heart, he as the 66 with a heart and wins.!!

If he has the 66 with a heart then he hasnt made a flush. Unless you ment flop had two hearts and not one?

If your bankroll is down to 55, how much was it before? Maybe you shouldnt be playing at those limits with your initial bankroll.

I tried that in no limit and had same fate. I didnt lose the big hands because of mistakes but luck mostly. but when you dont have the bankroll for it, you cant recover from those unlucky beats.

And the thing is, because you lose on luck, you consider yourself good enough for those limits therefore you find it harder to go back down to other limits.
