How many do you use? Do you have a preference ans why?

I current use 2 one because there is I always due to its large player base and the other gives satellites for live games in my country.

I was wondering what you guys do?

Which do you prefer? I play on 888 quite a bit as they have a lot of freerolls for bankroll building. What are your strategies for building it?
Yes, for playing freerolls, good sites are 888 and qualifying tournaments on ACR.
I just play as much as I can, and sometimes I manage to earn a little bit for a bankroll at 888 and on ACR I get tickets for the steps above to get a ticket for the VENOM tournament[emoji106][emoji123]
at the partypoker venue, I plan to put $ 100 and try to gradually develop them playing tournaments for $ 1 or satellites to more expensive tickets

Few months ago I started playing again the online poker. I'm playing at PokerStars and using the free role tournaments and the spin and go. It is also nice that you can place bets on Skysport through the App it self.
Other then that, i just today installed the unibet so let's see how it goes.

When I was regularly playing sunday Majors I would play up to 6 sites so that I could play the softest tournament on each site (whichever one has the most satellites running to it)

But since shifting more towards cash games and playing smaller volume overall I prefer picking one site and sticking to it for a few reasons

#1 You get better player rewards as you move up to the higher tiers
#2 You develop reads on the regulars more quickly and can identify randoms
#3 You get a feel for the general style of play on the network (each site seems to be a little unique) as well as a feel for the MTT structures which really helps for setting up optimal counter strategies.

I also found that for my brain playing multiple softwares was a little confusing, whereas multitabling on just one software where all games look the same is much much easier

I agree a lot with this point, and it's interesting to hear from a pro, because I feel it is rarely mentioned. I think there are clear differences in playing styles and player tendencies between different sites and networks, also in cash games. A strategy/style that works perfectly on one site does not necessarily work equally well on another site - at least that is my experience (and I have the losses to back it up ;p).

That said, to answer the original question: I have accounts on a lot of sites but currently keep bankroll on four, and am playing actively on three at the moment. I choose these because of one or more of the following:

* Softness of competition
* Selection of different game variants
* Quality of software and general reliability

Since I live in a regulated market that does not allow rewards anymore, rakeback and promos are a non-factor for me.

I started out playing on betonline and now I've moved over to playing on ACR also. I like them both but the withdrawl process on betonline can be a nightmare. I have yet to try a withdrawl on ACR but I'm hoping it is a little easier. I think I prefer ACR over betonline.
