These days the sites are not offering much in the form of rakeback.

But if found that some of them offer entries to promotional freerolls by raking a certain amount. Or you can buy your entry with points. Of course CC add their freerolls on top of these.

The poker economy is not in a very good shape right now. I think all sites should be offering even more freerolls to keep players motivated in the games.

What do you think?

Freeroll are not for "free". They are an investment of a pokersite or an affilate in their future. They shall bring new users into the pokerologie. Only big sites can afford to do such investments. So sites/affiliates that offer freerolls are useully in an advantage to others that don`t offer them. But small sites can`t make this investment and so they close down

Maybe they should be called "Rakerolls" since you have to rake to participate.

One drawback though, you have to be there at a specific time to play them. The schedule will not fit everyone.

But still they are a great incentive to bring more action to a site. Even if it is just to rake 1 point to participate. This mean that the player has money on the site and is willing to play with it.

pokerstars is the main poker site; however their freerolls are not the best investment of time. They have HUGE fields of players and the payout are top 10 heavy. So unless you get lucky you won't have much money for the time invested.

Full Tilt has great freerolls when you are atleast qualified on edge, i have no complaints with FTP, pokerstars on the other hand are just flash and no substance and the only thing they offer for me is there tourneys even though FTP has good ones as well plus with smaller fields, FTP>Stars for freerolls and rakeback and everything else

not for me, i keep my main bankroll on FTP, and would basically just play on stars for its tourneys, otherwise FTP has nothing that Stars doesn't including some of the tourneys on FTP are better, plus plenty of fish on FTP

Really, the only Freerolls that are of any value seem to be the current Month Long RTR freerolls that are every single day thru August, and the always valuable Cardschat Freerolls and buyins that had been such a nice secret until lately
