I go there to watch the sunday final tables sometimes-- they have some good tournies--

I dont know if it will every be like it was before black friday again-- I hope it is one day, but the way the laws work in the US makes it hard for that to be a reality--

I think it will be within 2-5 years that we will see pokerstars enter the US market somewhere in some state that allows it--- thats just a guess-- I hope its sooner

I really hope everyone in the US will be allowed to play wherever they want and be able to spend their hard earned money on whatever poker site they choose---

until U.S. players are allowed to play there for real money, I dont plan on playing any online poker at all. The software for a lot of the other poker rooms we have to choose from is horrible, and if even if you find one that you can actually stand to play, you have to have enough traffic to actually get to play.

Most of the players that were created in pokerstars are of American origin, because this country is the birthplace of poker ...

I wouldn't hold your breath, congress is a B, it is a shame that us players cannot play at stars, I was heart broken when I couldn't play on stars when I was living in the states, being Canadian I could just log in whenever then when I went to the us it was not allowing it. It really isn't fair

Probably never, given how dysfunctional the political system is. Bad laws never get changed, special interest groups develop that have a vested interest in keeping those bad laws on the books, and those bad laws end up becoming immortal.

I think poker players should take over the world, or at least the US government... Congress and politicians lie and steal more then any poker player.

In fact I bet Annie Duke and Howard lederer have done less lying and stealing (combined) then the most faithful politician

Most of the players that were created in pokerstars are of American origin, because this country is the birthplace of poker ...
On the origin of the game and even its name is still being debated . According to one version , the name comes from the German word pochen ( knocking ) . The first mention of the game similar to poker , belong to the XVI century.

Poker is a card game there are more than 500 years. He was born in Europe, in Spain, france and Italy. Poker rules then were somewhat different. With the passage of time changed the rules of poker . The first written mention of the modern version of poker appeared in 1829 in the memoirs of actor Joe Kauela . In 1834, started playing poker in a deck of 52 cards. However, as the rules have not changed , the winner was determined by the presence of his poker combinations.

At one time, poker was the national card game of the United States. He still is the most popular game in the United States among card games.

I think the majority of players had pokerstars were initially united states because they were the ones who started this company from poker, so therefore are more accustomed to playing poker, hence it was that began to dissipate all parts of the world ...

I also liked Poker Stars and Paradise and even some party poker. Ah the good old days. Won't change until the Feds and States figure out how to get their paws on the money from it somehow. I think it is coming, when I have no idea but eventually they will see a tax stream they can tap and allow it. They are greedy pigs after all.

Wish US players could play at Poker Stars again. I would love it, but, is it really going to happen. These stupid legislators don't have a clue.

It would be cool, if US players could play again. Just imagine the traffic boost. But after all those cases at and after Black Friday I doubt it will happen, at least in the near future.. Which is a shame.
