Can USA players enter PokerStars CardsChat Freerolls?

Hi everyone, I've PM'd one of CC's Mods, and have spent about 30 minutes doing Thread searches on this. Waitng on the Mods PM reply now.


I use to play PS alot 11 years ago, but I'm now a recent newbie back on online US player poker. I know PS doesn't allow " real money" players from Florida. Fully understood.
I have hope that maybe PS may one day allow Florida players. (maybe one of Indian casinos will hookup with them...another topic, another thread.)


My questions, requests for advice, are these....
(before attempting downloads)


If I download the PS site to BOTH my Android phone and my laptop...will I be able to enter the CC Freerolls on PS, after I meet CC's eligibility requirements.
AND...any experienced, earnings, suggestions, opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the answer is no. They will catch your IP address location and it won't be allowed.

CardsChat has special event freerolls hosted in PokerStars Home Games, USA can play those, but USA can not play the freerolls that take place on the PS site that are not held in the Home Games section of PokerStars.

Edit: If you are interested in freerolls CardsChat also host freerolls on ACR or Blackchip Poker (WPN skins.) ACR also has no deposit requirement to withdraw any money you win from freerolls. CardsChat also host freerolls online at https://www.cardschat.com/faq.php?fa...chat_roll_info (https://www.cardschat.com/faq.php?faq=cardschat_faq#faq_cchat_roll_info) you can play in the CardsChat freerolls on those sites, Note CardsChat FreeRoll club acceptance requires you to apply and be approved... I think PokerStars security will block you from playing for real money. You can only play playing chips.

I'm on BOL, and will likely be on ACR soon.
I"m really only inteterested in the PS site, only to be a participant in CC's freerolls.
I'm not a big freeroll player, but if it helps with getting to know the CC folks better, I'd like to be a part of it, once I'm eligible.


Next question,
Are all of CC's freerolls held in that "HomeGame" format, or will I be limited on PS in the CC touneys I can be a part of.

None of our freerolls at PS are in the home game format and US players can not play in them.

However all of our Special Events are home games so that everyone can participate.

The regular PokerStars freerolls are not in Home Games and USA can not play in any of them. The only freerolls you will be able to participate in are special event freerolls held in the Home Games section, these freerolls are announced on the forum with requirements and prizes in plenty of time to join in advance but they are the only freerolls players from the USA can participate in on PokerStars. Here is an example of a Special Event freeroll that has been completed and it is typical of the announcement post for such special event freerolls CardsChat 4th Annual Holiday Event 2017

you know....as a newbie...with a tiny brain, and menial education, I'd like to say that figuring this entire CC community thing out has been a bit of a curious thing, to say the least.
Even after reading it, seeing it, knowing it, reading it, seeing it, knowing it.......

What'n'duh heck qualifies for a Special Event, how do I differentiate them from Freerolls, and...where do I find them.
I've been looking in the "Special Event" section, thread, forum, what'ever.....and I'm not so sure my stupid arse is completely understanding what is what...unless it has the word freeroll attached to it.

Even though it's a freeroll you still could win money - therefore it's a negative. I miss playing on Stars and Full Tilt. That's when I started learning the game...
