Is pokerstars coming back to the US? Is there still an interest of US players wanting to play on this site. I think that US players can now play on Pokerstars NJ but traffic is low.

I would like to play on PS International but live in the US. Has anyone figured out this issue as yet?

Pokerstars is here with Pokerstars NJ. I know they're trying to get into PA, which approved online poker not too long ago, and I'm sure they'll try to get into DE and NV too. They're doing things by the books, so as each new state legalizes it, I expect they'll try to get in on the action. As far as the rest of the country, they won't allow anyone to play that's not in a state that legalized it, or else they'd risk losing everything they've worked so hard to get here in the US.

If you live here in the US, and aren't in one of the 3 or 4 states that's legalized online poker, you're not playing on PS. And if you're in the US at all, you're not playing with the international pool. Period.

It sucks, but that's where we're at right now...

I live in Washington state, which has found a way to make even play money poker illegal....

Sorry, but there is no way to play PS with the international players. They block you by the location of your IP address. The only way around that is a VPN, but if they catch you doing that your account will get banned and you'll forfeit all money you may have.

At this point we just have to wait and hope it gets legalized sooner rather than later.

Thanks to President Trump, North America is not a common contingent. Ridiculously.

its terrible

I haven't played online poker in years. used to play all the time til it got banned. then it came back in NJ (where i live) but it was so weak in comparison. super low gtd tournaments and very low traffic.
Just came back today (first time in 2 years) and tried out 888 again. It was terrible. their gtd tournaments are so weak. I tried to a $100KO one $5 buyin and there wasnt even enough players and it got cancelled. sitngo suck. and their highest limit cash game was barely any cash games. I ended up having to play $.10/$.20. I literally made $5 on my deposit and cashed out. waste of time.
Not sure how the other sites are. But im guessing since most are only NJ players at the moment, they are all pretty much the same.
