US Player Options

I am a US player. Just getting back into online poker after a long hiatis. I am a member of bovada. Is that the only money poker available right now for US players? Is it likely they will continiue to allow US players for some time? Don't want to make a large deposit and have US players denied on the site.

I wouldn't deposit at any poker sites until it's regulated, it's just to risky out there for me anyways.

If you look around the forum, you'll see some have been using the Merge network with some success from what I've read, other then that choices here in the states are very limited at the moment.

by the way, if your thinking of joining the Merge network, please note the p2p transfers are no longer allowed. I don't know how much that affects your decision, just thought I'd add that in.

DOJ went after bodog a month after they 'switched' to Bovada. I won't be too surprised at all if they shut down Bovada sometime soon. 3 months? 6 months, 1 year? Who know.

I've been long time Bodog/Bovada player, but now adays I make sure I only keep no more than a couple hundred on the site.

betonline.com is where i play. started recently and haven't withdrawn yet but the deposit was instantaneous and really easy.

according to pokerscout.com, Revolution gaming network is the biggest USA site w. Bovada right behind them. i like bovada poker touranments and am satisfied w. the site.

I was in the same boat as you till recently. I just joined blackchippoker.eu. I won't deposit on anything till I'm sure it's ok. Does it suck? Yes. Will I create a bankroll some how? Yes. Thank God I'm close enough to a casino to play true live poker when I'm truely bored lol
