Big joke on unibet, ever since the first big milestone is hit of 9.500.000 hands, the site has crashed totally :))) Started yesterday evening when tables exploded when the milestone almost hit. Just before it actually did, the site crashed hahaha

Anybody else playing on Unibet here?

it's the pokersite with mainly 6max tables (only some tournaments have full ring tables, but very few)
but it's known the most for the pokersite where HUD's are impossible to use, you can change your name up to 3 times a day
In March, this all happened, when Unibet decided to go from Ongame network to their own network.
They profile themselves as the pokersite for the recreational player, with kind of succes, because quite some tables running (but mainly micro and lowstakes).

I play there sometimes. They only offer holdem and omaha. I m working on getting to one of their Unibet open tournaments. Steps, very easy, until last one. Steps 1 to 3 (daily) 1 out of 5,5 players get ticket to next step, and final step (every Sunday) 1 in 8,5 players gets package. I m saving my step 4 ticket for over a month now. Must give it a shot, i think Copenhagen is next stop.

Jep, the sattelites are very nice indeed! the 10 euro & 50 euro ones are indeed very easy! I went to Unibet Open Tallinn this year like this. And I still have 3 big tickets of 250 euro left to go to Kopenhagen. See you there buddy. Let me know if it worked out, so we can meet there :)

Unibet has some nice ideas, but there's simply no interesting tournaments in there. Largest guaranteed is weekly 100€ freezeout with 5000€ prize pool, and mainly there's just 25€-100€ guaranteeds.

Software is very CPU-intensive too. Probably heaviest in industry. Also Unibet Open has it's problems, especially with integrity and I'm stunned that after major fiasco in Unibet Open Riga year ago they're still keeping John Scanlon as tournament director.

Definitly agree with you on the tournaments!
WHat happened in Riga? I went to the one in Tallinn last June and it was fine, very nice atmosphere and good structure.

The long story: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showpost.php?p=42503393&postcount=1

Cliffs:

- Tournament Director made an extra rule: no following on other tables during bubble
- Rule was not enforced, except in TV table -> I bust out after over 70 minutes of bubble play
- After tournament, TD lies about multiple matters about the matter and after that goes behind "TD's decisions are final"-clause
- Unibet promises to take matter into investigation -> they just post that they're not responsible about anything what happens in Unibet Open and also claimed that nothing happened that would have given any advantage to any player during bubble
- After this Unibet turn dead silent and poker forums associated with them start to censor discussion about the matter

Tournament and side program itself would probably have been rather pleasant, but with this atrocity I would count it to be worst poker experince I ever had in whole 10 years of time I've played live and online.
