Hey guys wanted to share my experience last night at my cities main casino.

1. I railed the final table of a £100 added freeroll/£5 rebuy down to the last three and i couldn't tell how deep they were because i felt it'd be awkward to ask.
BUT THE LEVEL OF PLAY WAS TERRIBLE! Local casinos are where all the money is at! LIMPING, 10% pot bets, calling all ins with bottom pair.

I was disgusted that i didn't turn up early enough, it was a field of about 50-60 people and top prize was £185 or $270ish

2. Sat at the cash table with 2 fish and an anonymous asian fella. i didn't play in this hand btw:
4handed 50BB deep open 3x from button call from SB, BBfolds
Bet all three streets to almost all in BT turns over A's and SB turns over 35o the ran out K9373, i just congratulated him on his win, and made a mental note of VALUE VALUE VALUE!.

3. You look tighter than what you are actually playing when you're playing live aswell.. as i played about 6 hands out of 20, hit trips twice got some value but not much. The rest of the hands i raised from UTG and got them through because of how tight i looked, hands that play well multiway like 98s the fella to the right kept commenting that i didn't want anyone to fold because i had a monster haha.

4. Lastly it seemed that everyone there thought poker was a luck game.. i shook the winner of the freerolls hand and he walked off saying it's all luck anyways boys. the shift runner/dealer/registrator kept commenting on how the guy with aces gave him a little gift before he left and that kind of thing.. i felt out of place a little bit but noone can argue that it pays to think at a higher level i suppose.

Live players at local casinos do seem terrible I think online players are much better (On Average) simply because on online poker people are there to play Poker but at a casino people are there to gamble and have a good time... and for the seeming tighter then you actually are its almost better to just play tight people seem to be maniacs live and wont fold if you payed them to.

I didn't realize there were restrictions on forums.

Easier on the eyes imo. plus my monitor's 42" so i strain to read smaller print.
