I just deposited $50 there, and I want to basically get the deal on it. Pros/cons? Person stories? What about the cashout process? Is there a fee to cashout via check?

I transfered $50 from Absolute and it is now ~$250, so I like it.

There is a $100 minimum cashout by check and an $8 fee.

I deposited 50 on U.B. about 2 months ago, I've had my ups and downs with it but I like it a lot better than Absolute Poker. Good luck with the low limit SnG's and low blind cash games, some of the donks can be hard to avoid while holding a dynamite hand. I definitely don't take as many bad beats as I used to on Absolute, but they are a fact of life. My favorite/most profitable games are the 2 dollar 6 handed sitngo's, as well as the .05/.10 limit full ring hold em games.
Maybe I'll see ya at the tables sometime?

I have played there for a while now and I like most things about it but my personal opinion is that the games are a bit tougher there than at other sites I play on.The better level of players does seem to reduce the amount of suckouts though.I do like the software and they always seem to pay in a timely manner as well. Not many cons that I can think of other than support can be a bit slow sometimes.Anyway,Good luck and hope to see you there sometime.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that if you are a semi tight agressive player the 5,10 and even 20 dollar SNG tourneys are pretty easy to come out ahead on.Especially the 5 dollar.Good luck,Holdem.

I've been playing there for years and have never experienced a problem. I set up a special bank account just for poker deposits and withdraws, and I usually have $ in 2-3 business days. You could do the same with a Pay-Pal account, I don't use it 'cause 1 I had was compromised. They fixed it and I didn't lose any $ but it still scared me.

I've played there a lot in the past, and never had a hitch at all. I use ePassporte for deposits and withdrawals there, and have withdrawn a dozen of so times, always quick and easy.

Lately, I've only been playig the CC games at the site. Since they joined with Absolute, IMO it's not as good as it used to be.

UB was my first site, for play money and then real.

I prefer their software to any other site. You can't beat miniview, you can fit 14 tables on a large monitor and not have any hidden behind any other.

Everytime I try to multitable at PS I get all confused since the tables are just too big.

I had no problem the time I took money out of my account.

I started online poker with UB and left after I had a nervous breakdown from repeatedly getting my aces cracked with hand like 7-2 and such flopping boats. I went to every other site the US allows and the bad beats continued...so I decided to stick with the most visually appealling to me (FT). All sites have pros and cons...I think you should just pick the one you are most comfortable with all around.

P.S. Got an email this morning that UB put $10.00 in my account...so maybe I will see you there when I go to donk it off...lol

I have spent 98% of my online play at UB. The other was at poker stars. UB is easy to use plenty and has plenty of tourneys. Bad beats happen everywhere and they will happen here. I don't like the $8 fee to get a check but they do pay fairly quickly. Good luck to you and if you beat my AA by sucking out at least say Sorry! :D
