Guys,

Does anyone play actively in Nevada on Ultimate Poker? If so, I'd love to hear a bit about the site.

How many players are playing nl cash games at prime time?
What are the limits and buy-in structures?
How is the software in general?
How many tables can you play at once?
Are the 2/4, 3/6, and 5/10 nl games active?
Is the site fishy?

Please don't hesitate to provide additional information that I did not request.

Hi there,

Just want to introduce myself, by name is Terrence Chan and I'm Director of Player Operations at Ultimate Poker. Hope I can answer at least some of your questions.

According to PokerScout.com, last night we peaked with 413 player, almost all of which are NL. We offer games from 1c/2c up to 100/200 at the moment. We currently have 20-50bb games, although we're looking at making changes to that and always receptive to feedback. The games at the stakes in question definitely run, especially during primetime hours. Right now it's 9am and there's a 5/10, 3/6 and 2/4 all running.

There's no limit on the number of tables you can play, but be aware that there is no time bank yet -- so be careful you don't play more than you can handle! The games do go fast.

As for "fishy", well, not really my place to comment on how our players play. I'm not allowed to play anyway. But I've definitely heard the games are good. :)

As for the person who asked about cashouts, we aim to process all cashouts within 3-4 business days. We're very proud of how quickly we process cashouts and it's very important to us to do it well, especially in the current poker climate.

Hope you give us a try and enjoy it!

Terrence, thanks for checking in. I for one love the site and truly appreciate you guys having the kehonies to get out there first.

I have one question.

Im sure there are many upgrades to come in the future but do you know if The Ability to log Player Notes, is a "talked about" upgrade? And is there an ETA?

Thanks...

Chris in Reno

Hi Chris,

Happy to stop by. I think it's an important part of my job to be on forums like this and others, and now I've finally got a little extra time to do so.

I don't think that Player Notes unfortunately will make it into the next version, but it's definitely on the feature roadmap. We definitely understand its importance to players.

Thanks for playing,
Terrence
