Just this week I was playing on my Absolute Poker account and everything was fine. I tried to log in yesterday and they don't have a record of my account. I've email their support desk, but I haven't received a reply. I have money on both accounts, but more on UB. I've never logged into both at the same time. I use AP because I have a Mac and it's browser based. I have to use virtual pc to play on UB, which is lags. Does anyone know why this happened.

It is ok to have accounts on both.
They are having some major software issues at UB right now and are trying to fix them. I have been talking(emailing) to the UB support multiple times in the last week. They have an average response time of about 24hrs. But I think you might be able to call them if you so desire. check that out on their web-page

good luck and have patience

You can have accounts on both UB and AP. However, you can't log onto them at the same time. Not sure if they track IP address or have some other method to stop people logging into them at the same time. I've tried to log in on to one with my lap top and the other with my desk top at the same time and it will allow you to log in one and not the other. To be honest I don't know why you wouuld want two accounts. They are the same site now. If you are logged in at UB and playing in a tournament, you could be playing people that are on AP and vis versa.

Triggalos is right, you can't. When you log into Absolute, it displays your IP address. UB probably checks IPs too, it just doesn't display. Anyway, since they are a merge, you're probably dealing with the same people. UB has live online chat. I think it's meant for deposits, but screw that, I'd give it a try if they don't respond soon...

But yes you can have 2 accounts, 1 at each site. You can even transfer funds from one site to the other. I'm the the same boat, more $ at UB that Absolute.

And this is for Triggalos... One thing is confusing. The UB webpage says you can transfer $ to a different UB acct (like for a friend), but says you must leave at least $25 in your own acct. It does NOT say whether ot not you have to leave $25 in the acct for a tranfser to Absolute. Then I believe there is a minimum transfer of $10 to any acct, thus the reason many will still have both accts.

I'm not sure, I've never tried to transfer money on UB or Absolute. Actually about two weeks after the merger and hearing all the problems UB is having, I stopped playing there and switched to poker stars. I didn't like PS at first, but now I love it. you can transfer as little as a penny to a friend if you want and it doesn't matter how much you have in your account. Poker Stars is a lot better all around imo, and I was a die hard UB guy!!

Yes, transfer minimum is $10 and there must still be $25 left in the account after the transfer. Basically, you need a minimum $35 in an account to even start a transfer.

That much was clear as far as transfers within the same site. So you mean you still need to have $25 left in your acct for a transfer from UB to Absolute? It didn't specifically say that, but you're probably right.

What I wanted to do is transfer my big $25 from UB to Absolute, and then transfer it plus the $4 I have at Absolute back to UB, since $4 is not enough to transfer. There is no reason anymore to use both.

I'm not trying to play on both at the same time. I prefer to play on absolute poker because I play on a Mac, and I don't have to have to use virtual pc to play poker. I've started the "furg" challenge, so I'm not even using the money I have on ub. I'll send support an email.
