I have been playing Ultimatebet for almost a year and recently started at Absolute Poker. I only play there for the bad beat jackpots. I was told they are the same or run by the same company. It seems the bad beat jackpot on AP is rigged though. Compared to UB's jackpot, AP's jackpot rarely hits. Ub's seems to hit every couple of days. Any thoughts on the issue? Am I wasting my money on AP? I have won over $3,000 being in the bad beats on UB but nothing on AP. What's the deal?

You do realize that bad beat jackpot tables have higher rakes right? And no, poker isn't rigged.

Those are the two worst sites, and actually I believe partnered together out of the big ones in my opinion. If I had to choose between the two I would go with Absolute, but the players at those sites, the ugliness of the sites and the flush draws turn me off. keep in mind I lost 2500 on a river two outer at absolute so I am bias. I also used to drink and play at UB so it is possible others feel differently. I prefer bodog, stars then FT in that order.

If the pot is over $5 then they rake it .50 cents and put it in the jackpot. Fine by me.

Cancer vs. AIDS. There was some speculation about UB's bad beat jackpot because the same person won it twice exactly a month apart during a similar time frame. But I wouldn't worry about facing superusers unless you are playing high stakes or big buy in sngs. DO NOT SUPPORT THEM THOUGH, THESE SITES ARE BAD FOR THE GAME.

ub has more players so more hands are dealt! theres a better chance of a bad beat happening then at ap. do i think your wasting your money? no. as long as your not losing at the tables id keep playing at both of em.

well you've only started AP so you cant really expect to be in a badbeat jackpot just yet
you played in ultimate bet for a year thats why you was lucky enough to be in a badbeat jackpot

I think you should go with your gut, but as for the site, i don't think they have anything to do with rigging. I think their badbeat jackpot hits just as much as anyone elses, its just statistics. You should check out the differences in how many rooms are on each site and post back for everyone to see.
