UB.com has a new look, a new name, a new feel and new software features that will make you scream Holy-freaking-crap-this-is-freaking-amazing in a high pitched voice you didn’t even know you were capable of making. Here’s what’s new:
  • More ring game options than ever including:
    • 7 Deuce ring games
    • 4 max tables
    • Ring games with antes

Awhile back I was asked to take a poker survey. They wanted to test site logos. The survey had a nondisclosure clause and wouldn't say who they represented, but all the logos they showed were "U.B." and it was obviously a poker site so it wasn't difficult to surmise that it was for Ultimate Bet.

Their new logo was my favorite.

I'm glad they have synchronized breaks. Their lobby used to be bad. I haven't downloaded the software but I *hope* they allow some sort of filtering now.

I just checked it out...it does have filters, SP. The look will take time to get used to though...only time will tell. I do like the new logo.:)

I think the new logo is an eyesore, but looks like the lobby will function better.

4-max tables? My oh my that sounds a bit awesome lol... I just wish I could bring myself to play on that site, but I can't so nevermind, will just have to wait for Stars/FT to introduce them I guess :(

i really like the new layout, white lobby doesn bug me at all.

I really like the new layout. If never played much on UB apart from a couple of CC tourneys but i have to say im impressed with the changes.

Geoff, your right 4max 200bb bi,72 side bet tables are awsome imo.

Wouldn't be fussed with the 72 tables but 4-max 200bb deep makes me weak at the knees lol... Plus you can get pretty decent rakeback there. But it's still Ultimate Bet lol.

I do not use the rabbit cam.
However, it appears that when you replay a hand the new UB software shows you the rabbit card anyway.

Yeah, it's just like the Absolute lobby. I had problems the 1st day I played on it. I was deep in a $50 freeroll when the CC freeroll and another private freeroll started. The two new tables came up, but didn't seat me. When I rebooted, I wasn't seated at any of the three tables. Rebooted again, but got two messages that I didn't take my seat during the 1st level, so I was out of the two private freerolls, and I still couldn't get reseated to the $50 freeroll. ARGHHHHHHHHHH.

I don't care much for the logo - but they have made a lot of good changes. Overall I really like it. I might start playing some there after I get my PS and FT bonuses cleared.

Since Cereus took over, haven't UB and AP been basically the same? I know on occasion when I've played the jackpot tables there, a player or two have said they are AP people and the function/option commands were different on the screen. If that's so, this revamp makes sense if only for the sake of uniformity.

I haven't checked out all the skins, but I couldn't find the classic, simple one I preferred. Last night I alternated between Aruba and Vegas...

One thing that has always bugged me is how game selection screens scroll like lightening. Just when I'm ready to click one, the list zooms back up to the top--is there anyway to control that?

It looks more like doyles room lobby to me, they are all on the same network and ride on the same backbone layout I believe.

Most sites that have scandals tend to rebrand a bit. Just like a night club that gets shut down and opens under new ownership.

i threw a few bucks in there recently as I got an email saying whatever I put in they would give me $10 free straight away without any requirements, so I thought, why not?
Really like the site, and lobby/tables etc, excellent choice of very cheap mtts and gaurantees, been playing there a lot lately, making some money and having some fun. some very friendly people there at the tables, and it seems like there are fewer badbeats/suckouts...........

its all like AP now...you cant tell the prize structure of the ty prior to gametime, e.g., which always infuriated me with AP before...

I must admit that the new UB is nicest, and probably have some new features, but I guess that I will miss the old UB a bit :p
