UB has done some changes to there tournament format and it is great for players, not so good for UB. They have a $6 buy in tournament that has a $6,000 guarantee, a $5 w/$5,000 guarantee, $20 w/$20,000 guarantee, and more of the same kind all day long. The great thing is,nobobdy is playing in these, there is so much overlay UB has to be losing all kinds of money on these, oh well. Just thought Id share that.Good Luck To All.

I think UB needs to do this to keep people playing there. Since they are not only related to Absolute, but also had the same kind of super-user issues, they probably are desperate for the extra players...

Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker could always do players a real favour and give them something the entire poker community would like to see...corporate liquidation.
I don't think there's anything they could do to make serious players go back to their site.

Ultimate Bet has the best software of any site. The tournament structure is pretty good now that they have changed it. The new Raise structure is another good item.

Personally I'm thinking anyone who doesn't play at UB because of supposed "superusers" just doesn't want to win any money. Most of the people here can't afford the stakes at which it supposedly occurred and if you're worried about them dropping down to $10NL then paranoia strikes deep.

Best software? Have you even tried PS software? :p UB (for me at least), is the slowest, most problematic site that I have tried.

The fact that Ultimate Bet let's you minimize tables makes them the best site. I do play on PS and FT and of the sites I regularly go to I would rate the software:

1. UB
2. PS
3. FT

Full Tilt to me is the absolute worst. Games that don't tell you when someone is sitting out, that's just stupid.

I guess I'll never understand why people think it's necessary to have a poker table look like a table. Seems to me it would be a lot easier if it were just a nice flat window that you could easily fit 10 of on the screen without covering and with good vision.
