Forgive me if this is somewhere already. I search us based poker and it always shows sites that allow US players, not a US based company. Seems like something within the US would allow US players to play with less worry to get shut out. Maybe something sponsored by a B&M? Even exclusively (Sorry everyone outside the US. I'd rather play poker with just US players if it means I won't get locked out) for US players?
Am I the only one with this logic, or does a part of UIGEA keep an american-based room from opening? Is there already one?

I just wanna get a bit in. and play a single table without half the people all in every hand

Caesars is working on it. One of the bigger issues to address is jurisdiction (state level or Feds - although this is a no brainer there will be a bunch of posturing first). Another is separating poker from other "suckers bet" gambling.
This will get resolved - it's just a matter of when. It could be a while. The latest FTP/Ponzi crap will not help it go quicker.

Yea it all seems pretty ridiculous doesn't it? Online poker seems to be dead at the moment, as far as US participation goes...as far as what media said, I think harrah's is fighting for a piece of the pie as well, which means there is indeed a pie...just a matter of when we'll be able to eat it.

It seems that way. Going Live has also proven to be a rather difficult thing for me, considering I live in a rural area.

To be honest it would be a great concept for all the major countries / regions to take on.

freegoldpoker.com is a free/subscription site that supposedly Jamie Gold has started or supports. Membership for as little as $4.99 month for VIP pts or you can freeroll and earn entry into cash money tourneys or prize tourneys

Wow. I hadn't heard of this, but I definitely would not play anywhere that had anything to do with JG..with what happened at his wsop ME victory and him not paying the people that staked him for it. Why don't u just play on intertops? They seem like the best choice for USA from what I have read on forums from people already on there. Fast cashouts and never a problem. They use a different cashier than Cake.

Does Intertops use a different cashier? They still have that redikulus $500 minimum for checks, the only way USA can cash out.

Intertops is much better than Cake, though they are on the same Network. Some player pool, etc... The major difference is that Intertops processes their own Cashouts which are much much faster, and they do NOT require a minimum of $500 to cashout! Intertops also has the same RB, Gold Cards, Gold Chips as the Cake skin. They do have a few other promo's as well though.

Another option is Minted Poker. They have some of the fastest US cashouts. The traffic is a little low, but they recently increased traffic by adding a couple new skins. There is now about 250-300 new players on Minted Poker. It is mainly 6max cash, though there are a few Full Ring cash games going now, where there wasn't any previously. Not much in the way of SNG's, but there regular tournaments would be similar to pokerstars or Full Tilt's Multi Table SNG's because the fields aren't near as large as PS or FT's MTT's use to be. Definitely worth a look if you play 6max cash. It may also be worth a look if your wanting to play multiple Networks to help get more tables or volume in. They offer pretty good RB and bonuses as well.

There are obviously some things that need improved with Minted, but most US poker sites have some area's to improve unfortunately.

Some of the things that Minted Poker needed to improve, they have improved while some of the others things are in the process currently. For example, as I mention above, they recently added a few new skins which has increased traffic a significant amount. One of the other major area's needing improved is the software(though it's tons better then SOME US sites). They have a beta release of a new version of software that is scheduled for release in the next few weeks.

Obviously, there are things to like about some sites, and some things to not like. Unfortunately, there aren't any US sites that offer everything that most players are looking for and it comes down to what's most important to that particular player. Hopefully that will change shortly and we will have some better options to choose from in the US with more traffic, etc.....

Does Intertops use a different cashier? They still have that redikulus $500 minimum for checks, the only way USA can cash out.

Just to confirm, Intertops min is not $500, it is $150 which is much better for micro players. They also offer Cashouts by check AND by Bankwire. They offer 1 free Bankwire a month(still a $150 min. and I would recommend the Bankwire since it's free and the checks have a fee.

What about betonline, anyone having luck with this site, i've tried to deposit with several different pre paid visas to no avail...i just don't see myself paying the WU charge until I hear more cashout success stories on the forums.
