Has anyone played at TS recently? What is the action like, comps and all that.
I will be there this week and would like a scouting report before I sit down at the tables.
Thanks

I haven't been there in a while but another Club member just spent a few days up there and said the action was pretty good. They have the Empire State Poker Championships coming up in a few weeks so things will get very juicy then. Also check out this fourm's thread on TS.

Just returned from my Turning Stone session. I was very pleased, the staff were very good. The Dealers were knowledgeable and friendly as were the Floor Supervisors. It was a Monday night, there were 3 $1-2NL tables going along with one $2-5 NH and one $2-4 Limit table. I Played for ~6 hours from 7-9PM the tables were, not surprisingly, filled with a lot of local regulars not much action unless they were pretty strong, easy to get away from. Sat down with $200, the max for the $1-2 tables, in front and went to dinner around 9PM up $3. Sat back down just before 10PM, most of the regulars had gone home, the tables got younger and looser though still pretty much straight forward. Plenty of folks calling down with draws, second pr and even A high. I got plenty of value with my made hands. All in all a good night, I retired to my room around 2AM, after tripling up my initial buy-in.

Lol I used to play here all the time. They're one of the few 18 and over casinos around.
