Hi CC. I live not to for from Tunica, and have been there in the past, but not to play poker.

Question... Which casino do I go to to play nl holdem? Which is best for cash, and which is best for tournaments? Thanks for any replies.
Oh and my budget will be 100 dollars. Thanks.

I wouldn't play in a casino if all I had was 100 dollars....

You don't even have a full BI for 1-2.

You are much better of taking that money and sticking it on Merge or Bovada and playing say 100 dollars worth of MTTs or playing 10NL on a small roll.

You will get more play, real deep stacked play and just more of a poker education.

That being said, if you just are intent on playing, I would play in a 1-2 game on friday or saturday night and hope to quadruple up from some drunk donks or something.

Thanks. Yeah I am just itching to play in a live game. I learned how to shuffle chips, and just want to sit at a real table, and experience it. I know I should wait, but I'm just so anxious to see what it's like:)

I posted a thread asking about Tunica casinos a few months back, and I dont think even one person responded. Im not sure if no one here has been\goes there or what..

But I would like to know which casinos and hotels are best. I just turned 21 yesterday and I am planning on making a trip there with in the next couple of weeks.

Tunicas nice! Well at least I like it! I just come down when they have wsop circuit events and WPO events. All the casinos are real close, so u can walk to the different poker rooms n check em out personally. Grab their daily tourney schedules or sit at the 1$/3$ cash games 100$ is min buyin at cash table. So that's plenty for your 1st time live. Goldstrike, Horseshoe, or Harrahs all str8 poker rooms. Good Luck!

$100 is a full roll for 5NL.

I have spent some time in Tunica as I only live about 3 hours away. I have stayed at the Goldstrike twice. Both times were a great experience for me and on my second trip there I brought my wife who loved it as well.

I have also stayed at Harrahs and didn't like it as much. Room was filthy when we got there, but they did make it right by giving us one of the large suites and comping the room due to them closing the pool early. (My 3 year old cried big tears so what else could they do? :) ).

Anyway Goldstrike is definitely where it is at imho for a great hotel and food.
